Located on Ķīpsala Island on the Daugava River, Riga Islande Hotel with FREE Parking offers air-conditioned rooms with satellite TV, a minibar and safe. Free WiFi is featured throughout the property. Riga City and Daugava River views from the hotel room and restaurant were amazing! The room was clean with coffee and tea provided: wide beds and comfortable beds. "Swedish table" breakfast with a great food selection. A disabled person chair was provided for my mom. Parking was free, safe, and easy to access. The staff was polite and helpful. I loved a glass of wine and a beautifully served dessert in the restaurant on the 9th floor with the amazing Riga City evening view. It was so relaxing after a long day. The owner (Jantien) was in regular contact both before and during the stay, providing us with very thorough information and instructions which proved very helpful. The flat itself is brand new, clean and of a high quality, representing good value for money. It is convenient base from which to travel to Riga city centre and is only a 10-15 minute car journey away from the airport and 20 minutes from Jurmala beach. The Olimpia shopping centre is just a 3 minute car journey away.
