Carnival Palace er glænýtt hótel sem býður upp á sérlega nútímaleg herbergi með viðargólfum og ókeypis Wi-Fi Interneti. The facilities were immaculately clean, the staff was extremely helpful, the location was excellent, and the AC was the best we had in all of Italy! And as a bonus point, we are observant Jews and not only was the hotel just 5 minute walk from the Jewish ghetto, they knew everything about staying at a hotel over the sabbath (physical keys, side entrance door that doesn’t open automatically etc.) which made things that much easier. 5 stars!

The Venice Times offers contemporary design and ultra-modern rooms, all in a enviable location in Venice's historic centre, 250 metres from Santa Lucia Train Station and a few steps from Venice... everything! great location, close to the station and quiet (be sure to close / lock the window at night!), great breakfast, excellent and large bed, big room, outstanding bathroom, kind and helpful staff.

The receptionist let me pick the room I liked best, the one I picked was overlooking a canal bridge, gondolas were passing next to the window, exited directly into the gorgeous dining hall. I wanted to extend my stay and they let me to keep my bags in the room while I was making up my mind, they served me a free espresso when I was leaving. Amazingly nice!

Set in the heart of the Cannaregio district of Venice, this 4-star hotel offers beautiful design and a welcoming atmosphere. Its large rooms come with luxurious fittings and spacious bathrooms. It is a beautiful building with delightful & helpful staff. We loved the location, a short walk into the main areas around Rialto and St Marks but quiet and very pretty. Cross the canal to the next one, Fondamenta Ormesini, has lots of bars and restaurants with a much more local clientele and authentic atmosphere, literally 3 minutes walk. It's also close to the Strada Nova, a great shopping street with more bars and restaurants and a great supermarket inside a traditional Venetian theatre. The bar at the hotel is very pretty and elegant, Marco makes the best bellinis, which was always the perfect end to our days exploring this wonderful city.
