The Scholar is a newly refurbished hotel located in the beautiful grounds of the Pollock Estate, just a few minutes’ walk from Arthurs Seat, Holyrood Park and the Meadows and within walking distance... Room was very comfortable and clean. I appreciate the possibility to make a cup of tea of coffee. Breakfasts were really great with a lot of options including Scottish breakfast. The location was relatively convenient although not the city centre (bus stop, park, and stores nearby).

The beds were super comfy, our room was clean and elegant. Despite it is a very busy street by buses, inside our room we didn’t hear a noise from outside. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Welkom bij The Scott, waar de geschiedenis verweven is met luxe in het hart van Edinburgh's Southside. The architecture it’s incredible. Very cozy. It’s a place to enjoy the castle feelings. A little bit far from the city center, there is no escalator. In general, it’s a good place. The rooms are big and beautiful views.
