Iako nam je soba bio okrenut ka glavnoj ulici, nije bilo buke. Soba je bila besprekorno čista. Zaseljenje u objekat je veoma lako. Posebno nam se dopalo što nema ključeva

Housed in a converted prison from 1837, this atmospheric hotel is found on Katajanokka Island in central Helsinki. The hotel is charming - a tastefully converted prison! The room we had was perfect - everything worked! The hotel is perfectly situated for the Viking Line terminal and is right on the number 4 tram route which makes getting into the city centre very easy (although this is a very pleasant 15 minute walk if you don't want to use the tram). The breakfast offering is superb and the dinner menu is excellent with freshly cooked and well presented dishes. The staff are very welcoming and exceptionally helpful.

Staff was welcoming and left a congradulatory note with some sweets in the room. Very nice, but brief, stay. Thank you!

Perfect location, rooms are big and have plenty of sunshine (important for me) and the staff are very very nice and friendly. The breakfast has such wide variety of options to choose from and they are all very delicious.

A big bonus is that the hotel is located so central; everything is in walking distance.

Very close to the Central Station, so really helpful if you need to catch a train with luggage. Also close to shops, restaurants and other facilities. The room is comfortable and quiet. I really enjoyed the breakfast. Lots of options and everything I tried was excellent.

Located by the waterfront of Katajanokka, Scandic Grand Marina is housed in 1920s Art Nouveau building and offers free WiFi, sauna, gym and a 24-hour on-site shop. Nice hotel and very good location. Very good breakfast, friendly staff...
