Just 700 metres from the Großer Garten Park and 2 km from the Old Town, this 4-star hotel in the Striesen district of Dresden offers spacious rooms and an Argentinien steakhouse. Lovely, comfortable and quiet old hotel in a beautiful part of the city, well appointed and with friendly staff. Breakfast was fine and the restaurant on the premises is excellent (don't be put off by the Steak House tag). As a hotel, as good as it gets, for a reasonable price.

Ferienwohnung Weißbach is an apartment located in Dresden, a short distance from the Blue Wonder suspension bridge and 3.8 km from Frauenkirche Dresden. Good size and well-equipped apartment on the top level of a residential villa. Very friendly host, who provided extensive information on things to do and places to visit (an actual folder, with plenty of material and even a booklet on Dresden written by the host). Host also provided bicycles. Close to several supermarkets and public transport.

Set to the east of Dresden Town Centre, Apartments Stirl come with free WiFi and a fully equipped kitchen. The Old Town district and Frauenkirche Church are within 2.5 km. Quiet location. Table outside. Comfortable beds.
