Offering a restaurant and a bar, Ibis Salvador Rio Vermelho is ideally located in Salvador, just in front of Rio Vermelho Beach. Free WiFi access is available, as well as a 24-hour front desk. The internet did not work well, so I could not work in the hotel. Fortunately I had no urgent matters to resolve.

A 20-minute drive from Porto da Barra Beach, Novotel Salvador Rio Vermelho offers modern rooms and a large swimming pool with panoramic sea views. Guests can also enjoy a sauna and fully-equipped gym.... The balcony view of the sea and city and the roof top pool and bar. There was also a big breakfast selection.

Set in a restored and enlarged antique 19th century residence, Hotel Catharina Paraguaçu offers rooms with air conditioning and cable TV. Rio Vermelho Beach is only a 10-minute walk away. Beautiful, historic house in colonial style in which the hotel is accommodated. Very spacious, well-equipped rooms. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.

I always book when I’m in Salvador. The infinite pool, the staff, the room and the the restaurant was perfect! All was ok.

I know a lot of people wanted windows but we appreciated escaping from the mosquitoes. Good security and treated guests like royalty. Cleaned rooms regularly. We got a deal but can be more expensive other nights- it is a 4 star hotel at the end of the day.
