A fantastic art deco gem of a hotel, a few meters from the Pelourinho. Friendly, helpful staff, fantastic roof bar and pool with wonderful views over the bay of Salvador and sunsets. Bedroom on 7th floor was very comfortable and spacious, with partial views of the bay. Breakfast, although not a buffet, was excellent with a good choice and efficient. Dinner in the hotel had the best Moqueca of my visit to Brazil. We spent our last few days in Brazil here and loved every minute of it. Highly recommended.

The Casa do Amarelindo is a very nice boutique hotel located on a pedestrian street in the heart of the historic Pelourinho section of Salvador. We stayed 7 nights at the end of January in a deluxe room with balcony and a view of the bay. The room was extremely comfortable with an enormous bed and an excellent bathroom. The included breakfast was very good and was served to us, rather than being a buffet style. We also had dinner a couple of nights at the hotel's restaurant, which was delicious. Everyone working at the hotel was very friendly, cheerful and helpful. To reach the hotel, we had the hotel send a driver to pick us up at the airport and take us straight to the hotel. This worked out very well and we used the same service when we left. We loved our stay at Casa do Amarelindo and the next time we go to Salvador we'll stay there again.

Det charmerende Villa Bahia Hotel i hjertet af Salvadors historiske centrum ligger i 2 traditionelle kolonitidshuse og byder på terrasse med panoramaudsigt over Pelourinho. This is a small boutique hotel located next to the Praça da Sé, a popular square in the heart of Pelourinho. Public transportation and the Elevator Lacerda are a short walk away. Location is great, and so was the room and the breakfast--AND every single staff member was cheerful and friendly and helpful.

The room was a good size with spacious opening windows, good breakfast delivered to the room, comfortable beds and good hot water. helpful andfriendly staff made the stay even more enhance, half way up the hill (not too steep) but cafes and shops everywhere ,, up hill for more vibrant less pushy ones. Salvador is a great place and we had an excellent 3 days there
