Located in the historical and cultural heart of Rio de Janeiro, this 5-star boutique hotel offers a unique concept of tropical design and panoramic views of Rio de Janeiro’s bay. The location and the view of the city were amazing. A short walking distance you’ll find a few local restaurants and bars. The ambiance was great. The staffing was polite, helpful. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Near to the bars and the whole nightscene but still in a quiet area to get a good sleep. Rooms and common area like in the pictures. It was clean and provided with what you need for a stay. This hotel was amazing! Right in city, walking distance to everything, inc carnival parties and sumbadrone. The food was the best in Brazil and prices rediciously cheap considering. Staff were friendly and accomodating. Pool was lovely and closed by 10 pm.

Hotelul Americano este situat în Lapa, cartierul istoric şi cultural al oraşului Rio de Janeiro. Toate camerele au aer condiţionat şi TV prin cablu. Parcarea este gratuită. My room was large and my bathroom had been newly renovated and had a large jacuzzi. I also had a small entrance room that had a fridge and computer table. I was comfortable and overall enjoyed my stay. The location is relatively central although you do have to walk a bit to the metro.
