Just 200 metres from the beach, Hôtel Le Récif provides Creole villas spread around 3 hectares of tropical gardens with 2 outdoor pools. It features a restaurant and a gazebo terrace.
"I don't speak French, but did not want to miss out on the opportunity to visit La Reunion. After lots of research, I decided to book the Le Recif where I stayed for 6 nights at the beginning of September 2015.
I was pleasantly suprised that all of the staff I met were either speaking English fluently or at least trying to support me however possible.
I was really not sure what to expect (after reading some more negative comments) and was affraid I may find it hard to get around... But, all the concerns I had before I got there melted away upon my arrival and I had a very, very comfortable stay! WiFi worked very well and at a decent speed which helped my daily trip planning.

The Alamanda is situated 150 metres from the Ermitage lagoon and features air-conditioned rooms with a private terrace or balcony. The palm garden has an outdoor pool and sun terrace.
"The hotel is located just a few minutes walk from the beach and the city centre. Our room was small but well arranged and rather comfortable with a balcony. There's a small but free parking lot in front of the hotel."
