"We arrived 2 hours early and the staff were really accommodating by letting us check-in to our room. The individual bungalows were really bright and spacious with modern decor. The bed was a large kingsize and very comfortable with lovely clean white bedding. There was a comfortable sofa which was great to be able to sit down and relax. There was also a nice balcony area. We had a problem with our safe and the management were quick to resolve this issue. For dinner I requested a dish from the snack menu as I wasn't very hungry, and even though the snack menu had already finished, they were happy to meet my request as well as change the chicken ceasar salad to a prawn one! Parking was directly outside each bungalow and the area was protected by a security gate."

The main town We is a short drive away and that famous beach in all the photos with the 2 tiny islands is just 15 minute drive away where I saw turtles!! Just fantastic in every way. "The bungalows are very quiet. The location is in a rural area outside of Noumea. The almost silent environment combined with a very comfortable bed gave me the best sleep I have had in months.
The bungalows are surrounded by tall trees, which makes for a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere.
If you enjoy bird-watching, just sit in the garden or the swimming pool in the morning after breakfast and enjoy the native birds hopping through the palm trees around and above you.

This is a gite not a hotel. The hosts are Sandy and her parents. They are good company at breakfast, especially if you speak French (or at least try).
There were more options than I expected for dinner. If you tell Sandy in advance, she will prepare a home-cooked meal for you. Otherwise, there is a pizza truck (Pizza Mamamia chez Fred) about 5 minutes before Les Cases de Plum on the road from Noumea. They make woodfired pizzas but the waiting time is approx. 45 minutes; so, call ahead if you can or come back when its ready. There is also a sit-down type restaurant nearby on the road from Noumea.
There is a small supermarket (a superette in French) but it closes early."
