“This is a perfect place for joyful vacations. The location is very pleasant, too. There was enough and comfortable space even to host a family, a lovely and private feeling pool (shared with a few other parties). A marvelous beach and a very recommendable dive center (Bahia, run by a helpful couple who organized many amazing dives for us) are just a few steps away. Also important aspect for us: The kitchen was very well equipped and functional, enabling us to cook for ourselves in a decent way, which is a necessity for a young family if you consider the price level of Curacao;-). The owner was very friendly and helpful. Many thanks for this. All perfect!
What you might want to know, too: Lagun is at the most beautiful part of the island, the north-western coast. By this, the place holds, unlike Wilemstad, the quiet and laid-back feeling of rural Carribeans. This is a big plus if you like the more original stuff (it's still a bit touristic, of course), but this also means that you'll probably need a car, as the next big supermarket is 30km away. A small shop is found in Lagun itself (100m distance) but is very basic, another which suits your needs for some days is in 4km, first crossroads to Barber. But for a diverse selection of fresh food you have to go all the way to Wilemstad. What itself is not a problem, as many sights and good snorkeling is also found into this direction. The bus system on Curacao connects all the island and is fun and reliable, although not too punctual. So if you're really on a budget, you might want to use the bus all the time, a busstop is directly in front of the nearby restaurant (50m). We did a mixed calcualtion and stayed half of the time without a car and the rest with.”
