Our stay in the hotel was comfortable. The staff as well as the manager, Sanjog, was courteous and ready to help us in every way possible. He went out of his way to help us with our trek and transport arrangements. The food in the restaurant was good and hygienic.

Great location, great rooms and lovely welcoming atmosphere! We spent alot of time with Bamdev planning our trekking route (we had no idea what to do for the trekking so it was so helpful to sit down and plan with the hotel owner). We were given the best trekking guide, Bishnu - ask for Bishnu if you are going trekking! He took us to ABC and Mardi Himal Base Camp, we had the best time ever and the trek definitely made our Nepal trip!

Pokhara suffers from Forest Fires in April/May. The sky is grey and filled with smog. Visibility is very poor and none of the surrounding mountains could be seen. Also the airport remains closed due to these weather conditions. Travel time on road between Kathmandu and Pokhara is almost 8 hours one way due to road projects.
One should travel later in the year when the visibility improves and the airport is open all day.

Sarangkot at sunrise was the highlight. The food was great.
Sarangkot at sunrise was the highlight. The food was great. It was disappointing to see so much trash around the lakeside. I am surprised YouTubers did not mention that point. We were glad we went there. We flew on Buddha Air from Kathmandu. On the day of our return back to Kathmandu, it was foggy and the flights were cancelled. We had stayed at Hotel Middle Path. I called them and they immediately sent the driver back to drive us to Kathmandu. Never have we had that type of service in all our travels.

I have spent months in Pokhara - due to the covid psychosis I was not able to return to my home country. Pokhara is an excellent place in Nepal and it is by far the best starting point for an enjoyable trek - Everest Base Camp trek is awful these days!!!
Finally I am back Again in this hotel. The hotel staff always makes me feel like a family of them.If you need a good hotel with different amenities like Hot Water (24 Hr),Tea Coffee maker in room,A/c and Heater, Delicious breakfast,Shower,Fast wifi,Free Big Parking space in Lakeside parking space is very difficult to find with hotel. The hotel has garden as well were you can have your breakfast,Dinner etc. They provide us vehicle for Pokhara Seight seeing as well.I back again with my family so they arranged everything.Highly recommended!
This hotel exceeded my expectation. It was located just opposite the lake. The area was situated in one of the most peaceful locations considering it was located near the lakeside. My spouse and myself really enjoyed the ambience of this place. The owner Mr. Krishna Paudel was so helpful and friendly. He extended his help to pick us up and take us to the hotel. He was happy to upgrade our room with a fantastic view of the lake. I would surely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great stay in Pokhara.
Harry and his family are delightful people. I spent a month at their guesthouse and really loved it. Nice, large room which was fully furnished. I enjoyed a good breakfast each morning. The location is easy walking distance to lakeside and other Pokhara attractions. Of special note, the solar shower system is outstanding and I can't express how nice a hot shower is in Nepal. I highly recommend Harry's to all travelers. They provide a number of ancillary outdoor activity services for trekkers as well.
Fantastic location with unimpeded Lake views. A big bonus is that the hotel has a lift - unlike many other Nepali hotels that only have stair access. I had a king room (with a view) which was large and very comfortable - top floor for rooms which I greatly recommend. Air conditioning was very effective. Hotel is located in an easy to access area of Pokhara with lots of nearby restaurants and shops. This hotel was only opened about 6 months ago and still is very clean and new. It was good value for money.
This was my second in this hotel and I would be back here again once in Pokhara. The location is excellent, few steps from Lakeside street yet in a very quiet part of it. We booked Mountain View room and the view from our room was amazing! you literally wake up seeing the majestic Himalayan tops. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was great, the manager Ram was especially helpful and friendly. The rest of the staff was very polite and helpful as well. Great value for money!
The location is pretty close to the lakeside. It's a 1 minute walk. The owner picked us from the tourist bus park without any extra cost when we arrived at Pokhara. The hotel doesn't have any lift, but the owner himself carried our luggage to the 2nd floor. Also, they are a family running the hotel, so it doesn't stay open all night long (I think it closes after 11:30 pm, you have to return to hotel before that time if you don't want to bother the people living there.)
this hotel deserves a full 5 stars in every aspects! location - it’s away from the bustling noisy road so you get your full zen moment but yet it’s also 10-15 mins walk from the lakeside.
facilities- everything is clean, big room, amazing pool, amazing garden area and restaurant with non fire (food is also great at reasonable price!)
the hotel overlooks the mountains and lake
staff - SO attentive and very helpful.
Will definitely stay here again
best view out of the 5 hotels we went to in Nepal (we went around Kathmandu, Pokhara, Dolakha). Maya and her family were very kind and hospitable. The room and the hotel was very clean and spacious. They have 2 cute dogs too! Breakfast was delicious - an assortment of fruits, aloo/potatoes, and choice between toast and jam, butter or nepali pancake, and coffee/tea. They are also very near to the sunrise viewpoint and the take-off point for paraglides.
Hotel Lakeshore has the cleanest and most comfortable bed I've slept in on my entire trip in Nepal. Location is great walkable to all lakeside shops and restaurants. The entire staff was wonderful but I have to mention Sanjog Adhikari the operations manager. The guy does it all airport transfers, hiking info and permits, arranging taxis, to room service with a smile and contagious upbeat attitude. He was definitely a highlight on my trip. Thank you!
This was the most beautiful place I’ve stayed in Pokhara! I returned 3 different times since it really felt like a Homestay.
The food was amazing and they make the absolute best banana Pancakes in Nepal! Once I got to stay in a bigger room for the same price.
Also the view from the hostel was stunning. It’s a really quiet place, 10 min from Lakeside so I really was able to rest.
Thank you so much for your hospitality, I hope I’ll return soon:)
One of the great value for private room in Pokhara! The whole building looks decent. My room is clean, comfortable. Bathroom got hot shower. The rooftop is huge! Can see the lake. The boss Mr. Bishnu assist me alot, including laundry service. I like his Nepal mountain stories. They did very good breakfast.
Location is exactly the main street! Lakeside.
It's a family business, all staffs friendly and helpful. Thanks for everything!
Everything! Lakeside is just few minutes of walking, grocery stores and restaurants are near by. Payment option is very convenient, by card which is rare in Nepal except in big hotels maybe. Hot water is so wonderful 24/7! And, lastly Buddhi is an excellent guide for trekking with a lot, I mean a lot of patience for someone like me (very slow). The best package for accommodations and for experiences.
Very friendly staff(owner). As a Tourist guide, He can give lots of information about visiting places in Pokhara. The most satisfying thing to me was, my small dog was allowed to stay. The location was near to the lakeside and also very quiet . Me and my wife were really satisfied. Of course we will stay there again, when we come to Pokhara.
Not only is Hotel Karuna exceptionally clean and modern (I also love their sustainability focus), but their owner and staff are just lovely. They are sweet, helpful and made me feel so welcome, making this a gem of a property. My best stay in Nepal!
The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. The price are also reasonable at the lakeside area. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting pokhara.
This place was clean! Really clean! It is the first clean place I've stayed in Nepal and it's worth staying here just for that. It's also in an excellent location by Lakeside and the staff are lovely and very helpful!
Nice hotel with a very helpful owner, a few steps from the lakeside. Tranquil place amidst all the hustle and bustle of the streetvendors, cafe's and resto's. Nice view over the lake from the balcony. Recommended!
Incredible hotel! Felt like an oasis by the lakeside and very reasonably priced. The food and facilities at the hotel were great, especially the spa which was very relaxing after a long trek. Highly recommended!
I have stayed at dozen of hotels in Lakeside Pokhara. This was on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever. Staff was very hospitable and there for every need of mine. Thank you so much.
my staying experience was wonderful ,friendly staff, good management, great mountain view from rooftop, best hotel in pokhara lakeside ,highly recommended hotel...😊👌👍
