Breakfast was good and large - one was enough for two. Restaurant and bar area were large and inviting and food was excellent. Parking adjacent was good. Hotel is a handed-down family business - pride of ownership was evident. Hotel was a popular rest stop for cyclers and bikers, esp in the morning. Location was quiet and remote in the countryside.

The US 82nd Airborne experienced viscous house-to-house fighting in and around this hotel and immediate vicinity to re-gain control of this strategically situated little village on the Dutch-German border. 100+ year old property still has lots of charm.
