I wish I had better things to say about this property as I was very excited for my stay - however, I cannot recommend. It is so far from everything and not within a walkable distance to get food or see any sights. The room was small yet comfortable, the balcony was peaceful, breakfast was great.

A darling of Shakespeare, beautiful Verona is the literary home of Romeo and Juliet. The medieval families of Montague and Capulet immortalized in the tragic play did actually exist and some buildings relating to the Montagues are still present.
Sorry to disappoint, but the place purporting to have been Juliet's house in Verona was not actually where she lived. However, it’s still worth suspending reality for a while and stepping out onto the balcony to see if Romeo turns up.
Another of the must-see Verona sights is the Arena, a largely intact Roman amphitheater which is now the spectacular setting for outdoor summer operas. Smaller Roman relics include the stone bridge that crosses the river by the Roman theater whose remains are partly beneath a house.
The city’s narrow streets house many cafes and restaurants which have cheaper fare than the touristy ones by the Arena, although admittedly the views are less impressive. Life in Verona is laid back and elegant, so expect to see some well-heeled Italians on a post-dinner passeggiata.
Verona Airport is a little out of town, so you’ll need to take a bus to get to your Verona hotel, apartment or B&B. Book with Booking.com for the best choice.

This is a very busy city, a major tourist site, but is absolutely jam packed with history, amazing buildings, fantastic restaurants and as much shopping as you could wish for. Because of the connection to Romeo and Juliet you will find an over abundance of reference and souvenirs but hey ho. A good 3 to 4 day break to get it all in without rushing. One tip, hold on tight if you use a taxi!

If like me , you are covering a number of destinations over a short period of time, then a day in Verona is enough unless you have specific things in mind which require more time. Of course if you just want to just chill out and take it easy, then Verona is your destination! It is a slow and dreamy city and has something to offer everyone, be it sightseeing, food or shopping.
As a vegetarian, my favourite place to eat was Ravioleria Ging Castelvechhio at Corso Castelvecchio 3, Verona. Their vegetarian bao buns were freshly made, piping hot and very delicious! Excellent value for money!

We went to Verona in early March and liked the fact it wasn't crazy crowded. It's a beautiful city with lots of hidden gems. I was only able to spend one night but 2 or 3 would have been better.

Obviously very popular with tourists but for us it was not about doing the usual tourist things but just walking the streets, finding places to eat away from the main tourist hub and just taking in the atmosphere of the place...its really a great place to just hangout!

Verona is a beautiful Italian city.
Verona is a beautiful Italian city. This was my second trip and I fell in love with it all over again. It is quite small, so two to three days would be perfect. We stayed right in the heart of the old town, on Via Leoncino, which is a short walk from the delightful Piazza Bra and the Arena. Almost everything is within walking distance, and I particularly loved sitting at one of the many outdoor cafes in Piazza Bra with my aperitivo, just watching the world go by! The city is full of wonderful cafes and restaurants - the problem is 'which one to choose' but one of our top recommendations is La Taverna Di Via Stella (on Via Stella), a short walk from another delightful square, Piazza delle Erbe, where we had a wonderful meal on our last night in Verona.

A wonderful city to visit.
A wonderful city to visit. I loved the pedestrianized old town nestled in the bend of the river. So much to see and wonder at on foot - the architecture, the extraordinary Piazza Erbe, the silent duomo, the river and museums, and the stunning Roman arena. The only waste of time was Juliet's balcony, though I think we have to be impressed by the skill in having taken something fictional and turning it into a very successful tourist goldmine!
It was my first time in Verona and I loved it. Not as overwhelming as the "big 3" (Rome, Florence, Venice). Though humming in the daytime, it was relatively quiet at night and very navigable and safe - which was important for this solo female traveller.
extremely clean everywhere! The room was bright and comfortable and well equipped. The staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel where you can catch the bus into Verona and the main reception explained clearly which bus to take and how to get back to the hotel. They even sell bus tickets which are extremely cheap. We stayed here three nights and really enjoyed seeing Verona and Lake Garda. There is plenty of parking and also underground parking to stop your car baking in the hot sun.
Our host was amazing! They provided great customer service with good communication and smooth access to the apartment which was a perfect fit for our 6 night stay in Verona. The location could not have been better, it was an easy and safe walk to/from the train station and the historic center. The light and spacious apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood with all the latest amenities. The clothes washing machine and well equiped kitchen was an added bonus! This will be our 'go to' spot when in northern Italy!
We visited 6 cities during our two-week trip around Italy (Rome, Florence, Bologna, Venice, Verona, Milan) and this property was the best of them all! The host was very kind to upgrade us to a Presidential Suite making it a pleasant surprise and an unforgettable experience for our family of 4. Stunning facilities, impeccable service and top notch personnel. Oh, and we even had breakfast delivered to our room too! You guys really left a mark in our hearts for Verona. Thank you, you are the best!
It is located right between the train station and the historic center, so not a long walk on either direction. The hotel is simple but it was a comfortable stay. The room was clean and had a good size, and the staff was helpful. The bed is a bit too hard for my taste, but we noticed this to be a pattern in this region of Italy, so perhaps just a local pattern and a matter of individual preference. Great staff, very friendly and helpful!
This boutique hotel room overlooks a major square in Verona called the Piazza delle Erbe. You can lean out the window and feel the vibrant hum of the square, with restaurants, and vendors and people enjoying the evening air. However, the very thick window assures a good quite sleep at night in a comfy bed. I book rooms based on historical quality and location. This was a 10 on both fronts. I would book again.
This is a gem in one of the best cities in Italy! Very spacious apartment in a perfect location. Three minute walk to the Piazza Delle Erbe, Romeo and Juliet’s balcony, and the Ponte Pietro. The apartment was spacious and clean, with plenty of space and beds for a large family. The rooftop terrace was unbelievable, and a highlight of our stay. I HIGHLY recommend this apartment. You will not be disappointed.
Good location for shops, market and key attractions, breakfast was varied with a mixture of foods, staff friendly and helpful room size was good slippers along with toiletries provided. Not far from amphitheater with lots of restaurants dotted around. Make sure you take lots of money as many great things to buy. Cab journey from Verona airport costs about €35 to hotel.
The hotel really exceeded our expectations. From the big luxury room, comfortable bed to the great location, only 5 mins walk from main sightseeings (but on a quiet street). The staff was super polite and helpful. All you can expect from a 5 star hotel. And last but not least - a fabulous breakfast served till 11 for late birds like us. Just don’t hesitate - book it.
On our trip through Italy we spent a night at this hotel. It is near the city center. After a 20 minute walk you can see the beautiful old town. In front of the hotel is a street with free parking. The alternative is a parking garage (10 € per day). The breakfast was really great and there was even a free gym.
We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you very much. 🤗
I loved the location and the design and the room was quite big and comfortable . Overall is a great hotel in an amazing location but being one of the 2 most expensive hotels in Verona a was expecting a little bit more being also a 5 star hotel. Staff was nice and available but was missing that familiarity you expect from an exceptional stay.
My last two nights in Italy were in Verona --- a perfect place to end my vacation. Dreaming Suite is in a perfect location. Imagine walking out the front door, turn to your right and have the Verona Arena right in front of you! The room itself was very comfortable and a great space to rest after a day of walking around beautiful Verona.
The personnel was more than helpful. The lady at the reception gave us information not only concerning the hotel, but also about how to get to the important touristic points of Verona. The room was clean. The service at the restaurant was good, personnel spoke good English, which is not often the case in Italy. The breakfast was good.
Beautiful classic Italian hotel, fantastic setting, full of interesting classic Italian furniture , loved every minute there, staff were lovely and very helpful, fabulous pool, and only a few minutes from the hustle and bustle of the enchanting Verona. A must see, must try, best breakfast on our tour of Italy, thank you Antonio!
Very nice, cosy hotel in the heart of Verona. This is small boutique hotel, reception is not available 27/7, so better to contact hotel if you want to check-in after 17:00
Breakfast served in the restaurant, few steps from the hotel. Room was big and cosy. Very comfortable double bed. Very friendly and helpful reception lady.
This stunning small hotel was a highlight of my Italy trip! Decorated in modern Italian, antiques and kitsch with a lovely breakfast spread. The bed was so comfy I did not want to leave. Staff was welcoming and fun as I tried to use my basic Italian-- they, of course, spoke perfect English. Verona is a sweet town.
Beautiful, stylish and exceptionally clean. Fantastic location to see Verona from. Restored stone building offering modern luxury. Very quiet. Check in is tricky - follow the instructions and all will be good. Brilliant owners saved the day. Favorite hotel on this Italian trip.
This is a beautiful little boutique hotel in Verona. Public transportation is literally outside the front door, as well as many options for food. The staff was great, the room was very nice, and the view from the balcony was gorgeous! We would definitely stay here again!
The staff was lovely and definitely went above and beyond. Sara, Rober, Fabiana and all the others worked hard to help us catch an early train in the middle of the Vinitaly exhibition, which made booking a taxi impossible. We were very grateful!
The welcome by our host to a beautiful apartment in lovely Verona. We will recommend visiting Verona and this apartment to all our friends visiting Italy.
