The staff were attentive and helpful with local recommendations.
Good onsite cafe for breakfast, open early.
The room was quiet, with good light, and window opening up on the street.

On arrival and without request our room had been upgraded to a room with a rural view as opposed to a city view. The accommodation was first class, spacious, spotlessly clean, spacious comfortable beds, staff were extremely welcoming in all aspects and extremely helpful, ample car parking space in a secure environment. Don't knew when but next time we travel in this area we will book Hotel O Cabazo without doubt. Given the restrictions due to bad weather I am sure we will be back some time soon.
This charming and rustic-style hotel is located in the historical center of Ribadeo, only 100 metres from the seafront promenade and the marina.

The breakfast was wonderful - coffee, juice, a choice of pastries or bread, plus some extra pound cake thrown in. The room was elegant, wonderful lighting, the bathroom was modern, convenient and had a full basket of comfort items - above and beyond the shampoo you usually get. The room came with a fridge, too. I booked a second night there!
Next to Ribadeo's Porcillan Harbour, this restored historic building offers a café-bar and free Wi-Fi. The colourful rooms at this family-run hotel have a balcony, minibar. Each room at Hotel A.G.

La ubicación, el trato, la cama cómoda, muy limpio
Ideally situated on the banks of Ribadeo's river and estuary, this hotel is located above the area's sailing club and boasts a heated saltwater pool and hot tub. Admire excellent views over the water.
Very good location. Nice breakfast. Excellent pool.
Overlooking Ribadeo Estuary, Hotel EO is 100 metres from the town hall and park. Some rooms have a terrace with magnificent views of the estuary, paying a supplement.
Comfortable hotel close to the centre of a lovely town.
Ribadeo is a small seaside town. Very quiet this time of the year. Easy to walk around but the town itself could be difficult for wheelchair users or people with visual or walking difficulties. Several of the footpaths are quite narrow and the kerbs are up to 30cm in height in some places. However outside the town centre, walkers should not experience any difficulties.
People are friendly and helpful. I speak some Spanish and Portuguese, and found I could manage Gallego, the local dialect, which is similar to Portuguese. This is just as well as very few people can speak more than a few words of English. I noticed that most of the reviews were from Spanish people.
You can take a local bus or walk on a boardwalk about an hour east to Praia Catedrais (Cathedral Beach), where there are spectacular rock formations where the sea has eroded the coastline. Some parts are inaccessible at high tide and there are clear signs warning that you will be fined at least €6,000 if they have to rescue you!
This time of the year, Ribadeo would be an ideal place to visit if you are looking for a nice quiet holiday.

The friendliness of the population has to be experienced to believe it. Not a huge town but plenty happening there. Shops and bars abound and a short walk/drive down to the sea front with restaurants to enjoy the array of fish dishes.

My first visit to Northern Spain...
My first visit to Northern Spain... Galicia, and what an absolute gem. I shouldn't really write a review as is it's not full of tourists and I like it that way!!
Amazing, rugged coastline with fantastic walkways, great for walkers but also caravanners are well catered for there... it's a touring sort of place.
Was hard to find breakfast (?) and no lunch before 1pm, nor dinner before 9pm, so plan well!!
Loved it and popped in to some charming nearby towns, no names, find your own unique way....enjoy!
Hired a car from the airport, was very cheap :)

Ribadeo is a town with all usual amenities.
Ribadeo is a town with all usual amenities. It has an estuary with Sea port and leisure port with waterside walks. Perhaps the main attraction is its proximity to the magnificent 'Playa des Cathedrals' a magnificent beach with numerous rock arches formed by the sea.
We are on a whirlwind trip along the North of Spain and have stayed in many hotels. Without question this is the best we have visited (including our stay at the huge expensive Monasterio Santo Estevo!). The location is easy to find, the property is immaculate and beautifully appointed, the staff were super friendly and keen to help with anything. And the view from the breakfast room - wow. Can't recommend highly enough
This little hotel is in an unbeatable location right in the heart of the old area of Ribadeo. The room is a real hotel room - NOT a hostel-type which is often typical of its price range - shower gels and soaps which pleasantly surprised us.
Super clean and modern, lovely bathroom en suite.
At night we walked out of the hotel straight into the 'happening' tapas street - yet the room wasn't't at all noisy.
Loved absolutely everything. It was the best place we stayed along the entire Camino del Norte. The owner, Henri, is incredible. He makes every guest feel as though they are the most important person in the world. After eating many ordinary tortilla patatas for a month, Henri's tortilla blew us away. We wished we could have taken a taxi back to this hotel after walking every stage of the Camino!
Excellent and friendly staff welcome you to an awesome hotel right on the Camino and next to a church. You need not worry, the bells will not keep you up at night. Very comfortable bed in a very clean and awesome smelling room! I really enjoyed my stay here and it is close to restaurants and a grocery store.
This is welcoming and beautiful hotel with a professional staff. Clean! Fantastic breakfast! Supporting in everything: a permit for Playa de las Catedrales, tea in the evening, information about where to eat or what to see, taxi, and so much more. I hope to stay here again.
Cute little roadside hotel with a lovely garden and other facilities that are probably nice to use in the summer. Room is pretty standard motel. Clean and comfortable. Cafe and restaurant across the street.
Helpful and friendly service. Spacious lobby and some green area with restaurant in the back. Delicious breakfast, if you include it and pay extra.
Rooms are nice. Free parking is availabe behind the hotel.
Right in the main plaza. Ribadeo it's a beautiful town, so it's nice to have it all right outside the door. The beds have their own light, outlets and curtains. Which is nice to find in the camino.
We had a great time, Beautiful house with a lot of charm, very clean, spacious, comfortable, staff was very friendly and helpful, good breakfast buffet, well located, parking near the hotel
An excellent hotel in the centre of Ribadeo. The reception lady was extremely friendly, helpful and informative. The double room was, spacious and well appointed. Outstanding value for money.
Great location, very nice facility, staff very helpful and kind. 2 bedroom apartment with great kitchen and sitting area. Beds and bathroom super. Visit to Playa Catedrales amazing.
Perfect place for the Camino Norte traveler. Right on the Camino . Hoteliers were wonderful people. Room was sufficiently appointed and close to downtown.
