Everything was excellent except for the parking. And that was just pain that we had to do street parking because the parking lot was tiny.
The couple that runs it were very friendly and helpful!

There was hot water in the shower. At least. The place was quiet. There was an open parking area. The rest was very negative.

The town is beautiful, walkable, safe - with many fascinating shops, restaurants and outdoor cafes, public parks, delicious bakeries, and some impressive things for tourists to visit - two museums each of which was excellent (one had a touring exhibit of an internationally famous modern artist, the other is a local history museum which is fascinating), the Japanese garden, the synagogue memorial - which was beautifully thought out, understated, and sensitive - and because Kaiserslautern is so close to Ramstein, everyone in the shops and restaurants speaks English and they understand, and are kind to, confused American tourists! Everyone I met was courteous, helpful, friendly. Do not miss: the two museums, the synagogue memorial (very thoughtful, sensitive, and thought provoking), the beautiful churches, etc.

the Hotel has no AC.
the Hotel has no AC. It was one of the worst experiences of my vacation. For a hotel that size, location, name recognition and star rating this hotel needs AC so customers can enjoy their stays during summer time there.

Late booking, more as a stopover, as all other more touristy cities hadn’t the number of reservations we required for our party.
Nothing really to see as a tourist but nice restaurants and pedestrian areas to enjoy a coffee or beer.

Kaiserslautern, in the heart of Palatinate ("Pfalz"), as well as the whole region is a very nice area. Very green, beautiful nature, nice people and because of thousands of US troops in this community, almost everywhere you can speak English and you'll be understood. No big cities nearby, if you want that, you gotta drive around 60km.
The hotel is a good deal for the price. We had to call the support number to move our room to the ground floor because we were staying there post-surgery and our apartment building elevator was out. The person on the phone spoke English well and was pleasant and helpful. The housekeeper on duty that day (Feb 2) responded promptly and got our new room ready quickly. Other things we liked: The shower was very nice and there was plenty of hot water and water pressure. Also, the refrigerator was good to have.
Super clean, really comfy beds, and the best equipped kitchen I've ever seen in comparable appartments (enough dishes and cutlery, and an electric pepper mill ;-)). Went there for a work stay with colleagues from my research group, and dining table, sofa arrangement and the big terrace gave plenty of options to sit and brainstorm :-).
Very relaxed host, and supermarked in short walking distance. Would definitely try to rent this flat again for stays in Kaiserslautern.
This is a nice, newly renovated apartment in Kaiserslautern. It is well located in the city center, you can reach the train station easily by foot. The apartment itself is really fresh, all appliances are new (note that it is located at the second floor, and you have to use stairs). It was very easy to do the check-in with the instructions provided. I recommend this place at Kaiserslautern.
Provided exactly what we needed for an overnight stay (sadly not time to look around the Kaiserslautern area). Room very good, clean and quiet. Breakfast very good - our son liked it which is a good test. Other guests seemed to be mainly young families and Americans (there are large US bases in the area). But all pleasant. Staff friendly and helpful.
This is the second time that I stayed at this hotel. It offers standard rooms and a breakfast that is a good value for the money (especially if you prepay). WIFI is free for hotel guests and it is next to the train station for easy connections to the rest of Germany from the Kaiserslautern train station.
Ideal place to spend a weekend in Kaiserslautern, with an auto or going on foot. Well-equipped, new finished/renovated. We felt welcome and indeed watched some Netflix.
We went to Kaiserslautern for a hiking weekend, also visited bad Dürkheim and a small canyon in the forest , really nice area!!
Breakfast was basic but pretty nice, I know it's a thematic hotel that reminds a prison, but having the toilet in the room without any separation is a bit bizarre. The bed was ok, a bit narrow. But for the price it's fine
Stay at the Ramstein place which is a lot nicer then Kaiserslautern He was able to move to Zimmer in Ramstein which was nice. The share kitchen was great and had everything.
This hotel is extraordinary with an excellent service and staff. Modern and updated rooms. Clean, cozy and excellent location across the mall in downtown Kaiserslautern.
Hotel staff were very helpful. Hotel rooms were spotlessly clean.
Breakfast was good but would have benefited from more warm meal options (e.g. scrambled egg, bacon).
There aren’t many options in Kaiserslautern for an affordable but comfortable hotel, so it’s usually either this or the Best Western. I love that they’re dog-friendly.
Very very clean!! Very clean hotel, room, bathroom. No smell of dust, or old furniture. it was very important for me. I was able to just relax and feel at home
