More or less everything was as it should be. I like the fact that you could cook your own eggs at breakfast and there was a good selection of breads. The staff were all very nice indeed and the hotel was quiet amid beautiful scenery.

The staff was extremly friendly. The woman that welcomed us (I presume she was the owner of the hotel) actualy gave us a larger room with mountain view free of additional charge. Me and my girlfriend are foodies, and we like fancy restaurants. The restaurant in the hotel was Michelin standard, for a reasonable price (Dinner costed around 150€ but it was worth of it). Very tasty and good portions.

The pick up and drop off from the train station on arrival and departure were most welcome. As was the welcome drink.
Study was a great place to relax with a beer, from the honesty bar, and the selection of books.
Breakfast was great with fresh produce and a good selection.
Room had a lovely view.
Bed very comfortable.

The best experience in Wengen! We loved it a lot. The location is great and the area is something. It was the fist time in Swiss Alps but after this trip I am sure we gonna come back. They keep cleanliness on a high level. Room was pretty nice and we got amazing view from our balcony to Swiss Alps ( room 235 ). I recommend this room big time. Also very sweet from the hotel is having coffee machine at the room. I am sure every coffee lover will appreciate it. Also we discovered all area and made sure it was best hotel in Wengen as per the view.

I liked Wengen very much. There’s a decent selection of restaurants and a few shops to browse around. It’s easy to get to and easy to get to Mürren and Grindelwald from. The scenery is stunning and everyone was very friendly. A great stay

Our first trip to Wengen and although it’s a trek to get there it is easy using Swiss rail network. Fabulous mountain village and benefits from being traffic free. The skiing was great although not extensive and other areas are a challenge to get to but enough above the town for a weeks casual skiing. Those who like to travel around may find it restrictive. There is one T bar lift to get back to Wengen if you traverse to Klein Schenigg which is a pain but you can either ski down to Wengen or take the train if T bars are not your thing ( not ours!). The town has a range or bars and restaurants but is peaceful. A few shops too selling ski wear, walking gear and Swiss stuff as you would expect. Local food shops are well stocked as well. We used the COOP mainly. They also sell firewood if your place has a log burner.
We went to ski but would love to go back in warmer times to trek as it looks fabulous!

Wengen was straight out of a postcard!
Wengen was straight out of a postcard! The town was charming and the views were second to none. The vacation was wonderful for us as a couple, but is also very family friendly. There were well behaved dogs with many of the visitors as well. I cannot wait to return!

The setting in the Jungfrau Region is jaw-dropping.
The setting in the Jungfrau Region is jaw-dropping. Small village feel with accomodations ranging from rustic to luxurious. Traffic-free, except for the occassional taxi or public works vehicle. Train access to high apline environment is unparalleled! Just wish the snow was better in late January.

Stunning scenery wherever you go. Good mix of transport options (train, gondola, cable cars) - just need a bit of patience as only runs every 15-30 mins. Great place for sledding, walking and just enjoying the majestic mountains.

Very cute town with lots of local places to eat/drink and shop on the on-season. Since we were there during slack, there were VERY few options. Wouldn't recommend unless it's full-on winter or full-on summer!
This room had the best view of the Alps. The staff was very friendly and helpful with information about Wengen. The steep up hill walk to the train was hard the first time but got better and always worth it. Excellent breakfast and we had dinner at their restaurant twice and it was fabulous. The rooms were clean, not large and the bathroom was very small but otherwise perfect accommodations. The hotel was very convenient to all the trams and trains. Loved the view from our balcony, the food and this beautiful village of Wengen.
I absolutely loved Alpenruhe hotel. The view is spectacular! The hotel is modern(ish), well kept, and clean. I booked a single room and I thought it was comfortable, adequate for my needs and very clean. It is not a fancy hotel but I had such a pleasant 6-day stay there. They picked me up at the train station, and the ladies at the reception are just lovely and helpful.
I had a good hearty breakfast with a view every day. Wengen is tiny and everything is close by. I would definitely stay there again when I return to Wengen.
After a long day of travelling, it was a treat to arrive at our room at the Hotel Bellevue Wengen. We had a balcony with an incredible view of the Lauterbrunnen Valley and a welcome dish of cookies from the hotel staff. The room was very comfortable, attractive, and clean. Complimentary breakfast was served each morning and the croissants were some of the best I have ever had. My son agrees. The location was great for exploring the alps, close to great hiking, and delicious fondue restaurants. We had a wonderful time!
Hotel Jungfraublick in Wengen boasts breathtaking views of the surrounding Swiss Alps and lush landscapes. The nature and scenery are indeed mesmerizing, providing a serene backdrop. However, it's essential to note that individual expectations may vary, and while the natural setting is remarkable, personal preferences regarding the room and breakfast may influence overall satisfaction. It's recommended to check specific reviews or inquire about amenities to ensure they align with your expectations for an optimal stay
It really gives you a feel of how life here was in the past. From the antiques in the lobby to the old elevator, everything in this hotel was something to look at. However, it was the receptionist that made our whole stay even better. She is a very hardworking lady that is running this family business. She is always in a happy and smiling mood that really lights up the whole place. The view from this place is the beautiful, would highly recommend it if you’re looking for a good view.
The location of the hotel overlooks the beautiful mountains and cable car of Wengen. It is a short walk to the train station and in the heart of down town. The beds were comfortable enough and the blankets were warm. Even though we did not have our own bathroom, there was a sick inside the room. There was tea and coffee available in the lobby. There is a terrace in the hotel that overlooks the valley. The water was hot and the room provided a mug per person.
My wife and I stayed at Maya Caprice Hotel in Wengen in March 2022 - superb location, conveniently close to the train station and the cable car station to Männlichen, but these stations are not usually busy at all so the place is still very quiet. A few awesome hiking trails also start from within walking distance. The room was great, but the view was surely the highlight! Staff were also very helpful, and the food was good. We'll be back for sure!
We highly recommend staying in the Double Room with Panoramic Mountain View, my husband and I stayed there for 4 days and we were treated with a stunning view of wengen and lauterbrunnen valley! We promised to come back and stay in the same hotel (hopefully in the same room) next year. The room was clean, comfortable and breakfast was lovely too. Staff are very nice as well.
Location is great because you are super close to the train station but far enough not to be noisy. Wengen is a picturesque place, where you end up staying. From this hotel you see a nice a beautiful mountain, not the Jungfrau, but amazing enough. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was beyond our expectations, not a typical hotel dinner!
This is my second time staying at this hotel. Room is always clean. Nice view from the Balcony. Breakfast is great it has a lot to choose from. Staff are friendly and courteous. The Hotel is family friendly since it has recreational areas. All in all i will recommend this hotel to friends and family.
Very friendly, nice and welcoming owners. We felt like we are staying with the family. The hotel has amazing views on the mountains it is located in a quiet part of Wengen, its simply beautiful. We loved it and will come back.
Good size room with twin beds. Mountain view. Hotel staff were exceptional. Nice variety at breakfast. Excellent restaurant. Located on the main road in Wengen. Cable car and train access within just a few minutes.
The mountain view from the balcony. The complimentary mountain herbal tea. The convenience to get to the beautiful and fun town of Wengen. The convenience of the coop store. The helpful hotel staff.
The location of this hotel is the best. It overlooks the mountains and has many play parks around for kids. The room was good. Bathrooms were clean however the liquid soap smell was a put off.
Breakfast was good.
Balcony with great views.
Excellent location in the heart of Wengen and closest hotel to train station.
Bed was really comfy.
Friendly staff.
Dinner and breakfast were both great (in terms of both price and quality), and the view was breathtaking. The hotel is in Wengen and overlooks Lauterbrunnen.
