Cabin was really well presented and adequately equipped. The decor and overall quality was basic but everywhere was well maintained, clean and very spacious. Check in staff were super friendly and helpful, parking (for one car) was out the front door of the cabin. Location wise, it's just out of Mallacoota town, so 2-3 minute drive down the hill. Great value for money.

We got there late so weren't aware that we could have walked to the foreshore although would have been a little bit of a hike. Set up on the hill a bit. Believe we could have booked a room with views but ours just had a small internal courtyard which was well presented - we sat out there with our breakfast. David, the owner, very chatty and helpful,

We had a positive stay with a good view, excellent location, and spacious accommodations. Having all amenities nearby and being close to town and the lake view are definite perks. However, the downside of only having one bathroom for four rooms could be a bit inconvenient. Overall, it sounds like a pleasant stay.
Charming place out of main tourist resorts. If you look for busy and loud nights, this is not the place for you. If you look for quiet place close to the nature, nice and friendly people and can organise and enjoy your free time, come to Mallacoota.

Mallacoota is an interesting place to visit even though our 3 day planned visit was cut short & we had to return home after only spending 1/2 day in the village due to a unexpected illness in our family. What was really appreciated was the fact that the Mallacoota Hotel (in conjunction with Booking.com) refunded our money the very next day which was something you don't expect to happen these days - especially when you have agreed to their cancellation policies.
We will certainly be booking in again in the very near future.

Beautiful natural environment.
Beautiful natural environment. Work is being done to the foreshore of the inlet. There didnt appear to be any fish in the inlet and at low tide it was quite shallow. Plenty of kangaroos and native birds and pelicans to be seen.

Very friendly town. Would definitely go back.
Very friendly town. Would definitely go back. Was just an overnight stay. Nature is gorgeous and love the road to Mallacoota. Extremely busy over Easter, which is understandable. We need to support them and small businesses. Nice relaxing, clean place.

Enjoyed the location overall.
Enjoyed the location overall. Also found it easy to walk around and see the wild-life. Sadly, only three restaurants in town. Lucy's was excellent, but very busy being it was really the only restaurant other than the bistro at the 'coota hotel. Which also served good food. We had dinner at Gipsy Point Lodge and that was also superb and extremely well hosted.
A 2-3 hour trip on the M.V Lochard was excellent. Our skipper Colin was very knowledgeable and it is definitely recommended. We also had coffee at Origami which was excellent and the Croajingolong Coffee shop was also very well managed and great service and coffee. Overall we found the residents of Mallacoota to be extremely friendly and welcoming.
I like Mallacoota.
Unit I stay haven’t have any views promised in the description. Actually any views..windows were leading to very noisy driveway or to tiny high fence frontiard. I booked this property only for the view , presented on the website.
I’m feeling totally rip off . For $480 I could stay in Sheraton Mirage in Port Douglas , not garage converted into the room.
Table was dirty, toilet did not splash for whole night.

Lovely room, clean, great facilties. Everything you need was there, even a little morish treat in the fridge. It was very quiet, just how we like it. Mallacoota is a beautiful place, isolated but that is its attraction. Never met the owner but that is the norm these days. Presume they are at the end of a phone call if needed.
An older style motel room with a few updates that make it really comfortable. Awesome location in the middle of town and easy to walk to any shop in the main street or the water front and just a drooling stumble from the bistro and public bar.
Good hot shower and plenty of facilities in the room.
Spacious property with beautiful garden, magnificent views and farm animals nearby. All rooms were very clean and the kitchen well-equipped. Perfect place for one or two families with kids as there's plenty of space to run around and the house is at the end of a no through road.
The location is very convenient to the shopping area of Mallacoota and also good for Bastion Point. The cabin was clean, the kitchen facilities (including full oven!) and cabinetry had recently been upgraded, the air-conditioning / heating was quiet and efficient.
Clean & comfortable! Great location, only walking distance to main street of Mallacoota.
The heating was turned on prior to my arrival which was very much appreciated on a rainy, windy & cold afternoon.
It’s so unique and good little tiny house .tiny house is well designed ,they have pull out table ,little balcony and bed is so comfortable. Especially little welcome snacks.
Great location in a lovely, friendly town. A refurbished classic Australian motel. Rooms were simple, spacious, clean and comfortable. Great for a one night stay.
