Quinta das Faias is a 4-hectare property in Madeira Island, situated in the lush Paradise Valley by the village of Camacha. Our host, Filipe, was very kind and took time to tell us about the local area and Madeira. There was a book with maps and tips as well. He also left a large loaf of fresh baked bread and some eggs from the chickens who roamed the farm. To top it all off, he was able to arrange for our laundry to be done the last full day we were there, even though it was a national holiday! Spacious, modern, beautiful appartment on the top floor with a terrace and gorgeous view of the ocean and the distant Deserted Islands. Situated in an elegant neighbourhood only 2 minutes from the motorway exit, making it an ideal base to explore the whole island by car. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen and the bathroom well equipped. The owner doesn't speak any English but welcomed us in a very friendly manner. Communication with the responsible lady was seamless in English via Booking.com chat before our stay, and she was very helpful and flexible regarding our special requests. This was our best holiday home ever, we will definitely stay here again if we return to Madeira.

Sea & mountain views is a holiday home situated in Porto Moniz. This unit is 4.4 km from Porto Moniz Natural Swimming Pools. The host is amazing. The accomodation had everything we needed, and the view was fantastic. I really hope one day I will be back and maybe I will stay longer
