There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. - Chalet was great: modern, clean, comfortable - Site itself: beautiful surroundings, lakeside, nice pool, well-situated near the must-see towns of Baixo Alentejo - Daily included breakfast is phenomenal

Located within 8 km of Roman City of Ammaia and 10 km of Portalegre Castle, Casa do Vale features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Marvão. Located in a beautiful country side, surrounded by nature is great location to hike or bike. It is close to Castelo de Marvao, Castelo da Vide, Menhir de Meade and other lovely medioeval towns, is a place to relax or work with creative projects. I could stay longer if I had have the time, this place is in my list for my next trip to Portugal.

Set in a small village with only 10 inhabitants, tranquility and nature, this is the place to disconnect and reconnect. Carolina and Francisco are the perfect hosts; always friendly, available and helpful.

Offering a garden and quiet street view, Casa do Lado is situated in Vila Nova de Milfontes, 1.2 km from Lighthouse Beach and 700 metres from Sao Clemente Fort. From the moment we arrived, we were spoiled with impeccable service and friendliness from the owners. Mariana & Tomás are amazing hosts, the accommodation and rooms are beautiful and the food is to return for. We highly recommend this place for its ambiance, dinner by Mariana and Portugese experience you will have here. PS: For the breakfast alone, please consider staying here.

Situated within 300 metres of Monsaraz Castle and 47 km of Ducal Palace of Vila Viçosa, Casa D’ Santiago provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Monsaraz. This is the cutest place to stay - located within the walls of the castle but easily accessible since the car can stop a few meters away to drop off passengers and luggages. The views are stunning and inside it's much bigger than it looks - we only took 2 of 4 rooms in the house, there are also 2 living rooms and a dinning area, as well as a fully equipped kitchen. The place was tidy when we got there and we felt most comfortable during our stay.

Located in Melides in the Alentejo region, Farm Wood House is a country house featuring a terrace and sea views. Guests staying at this country house have access to a balcony. The farm was situated in an amazing location surrounded by trees and nature. It was so quiet, that we could enjoy a night outside looking at the stars and listening to the animals. Also, the breakfast was very fulfilling. We also enjoyed the casual visit of a very cute cat, and the hot tub at night and during the day. The staff was always attentive and helpful with our questions and requests.

Matatagpuan ang O Monte das Flores sa Vila Nova de Milfontes, tatlong kilometro ang layo mula sa Malhão Beach at limang kilometro ang layo mula sa Vila Nova de Milfontes. 2nd time here. And we'll be back 🙂

Offering a garden and pool view, Vales do Alentejo is located in Bicos, 28 km from Sao Clemente Fort and 30 km from Pessegueiro Island. Delightful in every aspect. The houses, the friendly staff, the excellent breakfast, the swimming pool, and the quiet surroundings of the location in deep Alentejo. This place presents high quality standards at a pretty reasonable price. A small property of 6 terraced houses, all with a spacious bedroom and living room with kitchen. Very well equiped and nicely decorated. The breakfast is excellent with warm bread, croissant, and cakes just out of the woven. The swimming pool and the view of surroundings is super pleasant. Very good for family with kids, the baby crib was very good quality and the sofa bed for the child also good and spacious. The location is quiet, though the walls between houses are pretty thin and not sound-proof. The drive to nearest town (Cercal) is 10min, there are good restaurants there. And the drive to seaside is 20-30 min but there are many wonderful beaches to explore in this part of Alentejo so this is a great base :)
