It is close to Castelo de Marvao, Castelo da Vide, Menhir de Meade and other lovely medioeval towns, is a place to relax or work with creative projects. I could stay longer if I had have the time, this place is in my list for my next trip to Portugal.

Chão da Velha - Casas de Campo in Nisa ligt op 42 km van Roman City of Ammaia en biedt accommodatie met airconditioning, gratis WiFi, en toegang tot een terras. Set in a small village with only 10 inhabitants, tranquility and nature, this is the place to disconnect and reconnect. Carolina and Francisco are the perfect hosts; always friendly, available and helpful.

From the moment we arrived, we were spoiled with impeccable service and friendliness from the owners. Mariana & Tomás are amazing hosts, the accommodation and rooms are beautiful and the food is to return for. We highly recommend this place for its ambiance, dinner by Mariana and Portugese experience you will have here. PS: For the breakfast alone, please consider staying here.

Casa D’ Santiago bevindt zich op 3 minuten lopen van Castelo de Monsaraz en biedt een tuin en een gedeelde lounge. De accommodaties hebben airconditioning, een patio en gratis WiFi. This is the cutest place to stay - located within the walls of the castle but easily accessible since the car can stop a few meters away to drop off passengers and luggages. The views are stunning and inside it's much bigger than it looks - we only took 2 of 4 rooms in the house, there are also 2 living rooms and a dinning area, as well as a fully equipped kitchen. The place was tidy when we got there and we felt most comfortable during our stay.

The houses, the friendly staff, the excellent breakfast, the swimming pool, and the quiet surroundings of the location in deep Alentejo. This place presents high quality standards at a pretty reasonable price. A small property of 6 terraced houses, all with a spacious bedroom and living room with kitchen. Very well equiped and nicely decorated. The breakfast is excellent with warm bread, croissant, and cakes just out of the woven. The swimming pool and the view of surroundings is super pleasant. Very good for family with kids, the baby crib was very good quality and the sofa bed for the child also good and spacious. The location is quiet, though the walls between houses are pretty thin and not sound-proof. The drive to nearest town (Cercal) is 10min, there are good restaurants there. And the drive to seaside is 20-30 min but there are many wonderful beaches to explore in this part of Alentejo so this is a great base :)
