Posada La Solana ligt in het middeleeuwse dorp Santillana del Mar. Het biedt veel rustieke charme en schilderachtig uitzicht op de omringende tuin en het platteland. Location, was not in the center of the noice. Very quiet and yet super close to the center.

Balcón de la Len ligt in Quintana de Soba en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi, uitzicht op de bergen en toegang tot een hot tub. It would have been difficult to have been treated better and almost impossible to find a more relaxing location with breathtaking views. The hosts were perfect; available on the phone at any time and quick to respond to any messages. The accommodation was ideal for our needs and indeed we have taken away a good few ideas for a property we are renovating (thank you Meli). We stayed for four nights and wish it had been longer; the area is one of truly astounding natural beauty and is the perfect location to unwind and enjoy the peace and quiet. The village itself is very pretty and the locals equally welcoming and happy to chat. One can walk from the property to local restaurants which provide wholesome economical food and a warm welcome. We have lived in a very beautiful part of the Mediterranean Coast of Spain for over 20 years in one of the most scenic valleys imaginable, or at least we thought so until we came to sample the delights of this gorgeous village in the Cantabrian mountains with fields of freely roaming livestock all around and the backdrop of awe inspiring mountains with free flowing rivers and streams with pretty cascading falls all within pretty easy walking distance, albeit up and down hill. Parking was super simple in a private spot right beside the property, but not such that your car blocks the view. We visited the coast whilst we were there which is around 40 minutes by car through sensibly wide mountain roads (windy, but easy to drive) and also took a trip to Bilbao to see the Guggenheim (just over an hour), but it was lovely to pop to the local "supermarket" (corner shop) and buy some bits to enjoy a picnic.

Camino de la Torre - Ruralsoba ligt in Quintana de Soba, op 60 km van Santander, en biedt een barbecue en uitzicht op de bergen. Nice location with own parking and entrance. Very friendly and helpful owner.

LA CABAÑA biedt accommodatie in Cillorigo de Liebana, op 31 km van Llanes. U kunt gebruikmaken van een eigen tuin met barbecuefaciliteiten. Er is gratis WiFi beschikbaar. It's a comfortable apartment - not huge, but cosy. Ojedo is small, but there's a nice place just down the hill - for a drink and/or something to eat. We had a nice time staying here for 4 days. The owner us right up the street - in case you need anything.

El Alto de Marín ligt in Hoznayo en biedt gratis WiFi, een tuin, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. Haven van Santander ligt op 22 km van het landhuis, en Puerto Chico ligt 24 km verderop. The attention and care are outstanding by all personnel, managers and workers. The country house is a sweet little dream. The rooms are pristine and what you could dream from a rural house.

Finca Artienza is gelegen in Ramales de la Victoria en biedt gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en uitzicht op de bergen. The magnificent mountain setting, the spaciousness of the apartment, and our great host, Joaquin.

Posada El Hidalgo ligt in Valdecilla, net buiten het natuurreservaat Cabárceno. Dit landhuis heeft een mooie veranda met uitzicht op de tuin en over het platteland. Heel vriendelijke gastvrouw die veel tips geeft,ruime kamer en mooie ligging!
