Great place to stay close to Marvao. Comfortable lodging with ample parking behind the private gate. Mr. Carlos was extremely helpful and made sure everything was correct.

The house, pool and surrounding art trail were spot on. We also visited a vineyard and the walled city in Marvao and thought those were both great!

The house was beautifully designed, decorated and furnished. It was spacious and comfortable, with all the equipment you could need. The views were wonderful over the valley and towards Marvao and the mountains. The only sound was sheep bells. Really, one of the best places we have stayed. Also, the host was helpful and kind.

If I can give one piece of advice, book for as long as you can, you will not regret it. Whether it is to move between the hammocks and the pool, to walk and explore the mountains or use it as a base to explore nearby attractions you will feel like you are in a little piece of heaven here. In four days not a single car drove past and my only companions were the distant sheep bells and occasional shepherd meandering by. The house itself is incredibly designed, the value for money is exceptional and Ana is such a kind and eager host if you need anything. If you are looking for a country escape, this is it!

All appeared to be very new and good quality. Very comfortable bed, very good breakfast. Very beautiful balcony and surroundings. Extremely kind hosts, very supportive and helpful and available with anything. Ideal place to visit all the area (car most likely needed though). Much better than what we expected based on the pictures of the web! Thanks for everything!

This secret and magical house is amazing, an authentic house where you can feel in the most pleasant way the very special energy of the Portuguese people. Wonderful little part of paradise. The lady was exceptionally friendly, and even though we didn't speak portugese, she tried her best and figured out what we were saying. Always a huge smile on her face. ☺️
