A beautifully renovated multi generation family house, high quality interior elements, design decorations, gigantic flat screen, strong wifi. Large bathroom with great comfort. A big garden with very old trees surrounded by a centennial wall. A fitness room. Perfect breakfast prepared by the very cordial owner. Little detail: the excellent mattress consists of recycled plastic recovered from the oceans!

Casa do Merlo exceeded our expectations (last-minute booking in summer) -- wonderful, beautiful property in a darling small seaside town, comfortable and spacious rooms, very friendly and gracious host (we loved it so much, we stayed an extra night). I will stay here again if my travels take me back to the area in the future. It's a short and lovely walk to a wide and beautiful sand beach and a 15-20 minute stroll will land you at some good food options by the sea, too. Cathedral Beach is a 7 minute drive away.
