Green fields and meadows boarded with ancient dry stone walling. Waking distance to the local village 10 min. walk. Recommend the pub. Nice place to use as a base to explore the surrounding areas. We would happily return!

Lovely house in a lovely area. Helpful hosts provided a useful information document before my stay which I really appreciated. Lots of nice touches around the place, including a record player. Great place to relax for a few days. Bus stop 5 minutes walk away.

It felt like living a bit in the now and a bit in the past. It was comfortable and had all the things we needed. Most of all, the setting and the view is beautiful. I loved the bird songs the sheep across the valley, the horses in the pasture next to the house. And the house was cozy and cute.

Quaint cottage, located in a beautiful derbyshire village. Great location for getting around. Very clean and cozy, well equipped with everything we needed. Nice comfy bed. The shower was amazing. Plenty of parking. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. Joanne was lovely, with great communication before our stay. It was a pleasure to finally meet her. Happy to recommend this property to family and friends. Would definitely stay again! 😁

Serene views and atmosphere. The cottage itself was beautifully designed and appointed. Very comfortable beds. Convenient small kitchen area. Good shower. Fantastic swimming pool and games room. Pub just across the road. Altogether a paradise - I didn't want to leave and I would love to go back.

The Cottage, Grotton Hall, Lydgate, Saddleworth se encuentra en Saddleworth, a 15 km de Museo Clayton Hall, y ofrece terraza, jardín y wifi gratis. The location was great because it is next to Grotton Hall and is located through some gates behind a wall, away from the main road. It's also close to most amenities in Lydgate and everything such as pubs and supermarkets are easy to get to. Great for a hiking weekend too as the North Peak District isn't far away.
