We found Uniondale interesting and worth the visit.
We found Uniondale interesting and worth the visit. Gorgeous old NG church, some delightful old houses , a very old Mill, and friendly people. Clean. We ate at The Hungry Ghost, lovely Karoo chops and Alwyn's. Did not see the ghost, only the statue, odd, of same.

Such a surprise, met Steve our host and had the tour.
Such a surprise, met Steve our host and had the tour. Previously an old age home, transformed into the most beautiful "home". well appointed, comfortable, great bathrooms and as the evening was chilly, a fire was lit in the bedroom.
Served the best burger at the local restaurant and as we left early, Debbie baked fresh muffins with Steve's marmalade, delish.
We didn't want to leave, but will be back!
