The location and views were exactly as described. The accommodation was very clean. I liked the fact there was a garage we pulled into, and we didn't have to unpack everything out of the vehicle just for one night.

A very cute area, beautifully located, with a great beach and coastal walk. The town might get very crowded during peak season, although that wasn't the case when I was there. There is only one restaurant, and only two shops with limited supplies, so it's best to stock up in Stilbaai en route.

Gerhard is such a lovely host.

Gerhard is such a lovely host. He assisted us last minute and greeted us at the door. The most beautiful view of Jongensfontein. He had a whole lot of load shedding lights. The place was clean and very spacious.

Jongensfontein is a safe location for a great seaside holiday. Its mainly a residential area with low traffic volumes. It's ideal for hiking or running excersizes along the seafront or on street level. A Rocky seafront with many tidal pools and a small sandy beach area.

Jongensfontein has a very calm and pleasant atmosphere.

Jongensfontein has a very calm and pleasant atmosphere. Even though it is a quiet little town the shops and restaurants are able and willing to assist with any query, A visit to Jongensfontein will be unforgettable and surprise you for all the right reasons.

Jongensfontein is a very laid back town that's great for avid fishermen. The beaches aren't great for swimming because of the rip currents, but there are plenty of spots to dip your feet in and there are an abundance of rockpools. There's a lovely hike (Noordkapper Trail) that runs between Jongensfontein and Stilbaai which is 11kms long and flat so it's not strenuous. Just watch out for snakes. The area is family friendly and you'll find people going for jogs and bike rides in the morning. The people in the area are friendly too with the language spoken being predominantly Afrikaans. Our favourite find in terms of cafe's was Allegaartjie Cafe in Stilbaai. Everything they make is delicious. If you're in the area you have to pop in for a coffee and a bite to eat.
