Olivias Accommodation, hotel in Falepuna

Olivias Accommodation offers accommodation in Apia. The guest house has a barbecue and views of the garden. Olivias Accommodation is situated next door to a Apia Park Sports centre.

It’s more clean and comfy than you would expect from the other reviews. I’m really happy about the entire stay. The location is great and there’s everything you need in walking distance. I would recommend chatting to the staff as they can help arrange a lot of things to make your stay super easy. Ask what events are happening and often you’ll get invited to cool things. Definitely pay a visit to the resort nearby and the Palolo Deep Marine Reserve. I had a fantastic time here and the breakfast was lovely and the guests were all very friendly. This stay made my trip better than I could have expected, I would stay here again!

The setting and public spaces were beautiful.

The setting and public spaces were beautiful. The over the water dining room gorgeous. The garden villas were basic and need serious maintenance. The staff were friendly but a well trained hospitality manager would make a huge difference. There was a serious lack of attention to detail and understanding of the requirements overseas clients expect. The food was basic and needs an upgrade.

Resort itself was a great place to just relax, outside daybeds and chairs provided. Piula Cave Pool was great, clear water, good to swim in and had a fair entry price. The Cave pool is also only a short walk from Leuaina Resort. Falefa Falls, only a short distance by car, was lovely and we swam to the bottom of the falls. 5 Tala each being a reasonable entry fee. At the right tide, snorkelling out from Leuaina Resort was ok and kayaking out to the reef was good. The provision of a double kayak would be good for 2 people or adult and child (only singles available) We had breakfasts (free) and dinners at the resort restaurant which was delicious and in a great atmosphere, being on the water. A small convenience store was at the top of the resort which provided a few options. We hired a car which was great and managed to see most of the Islands attractions. With a bit more research you could catch buses. Taxis around Apia were easy to access. The resort provided a free bus to and from the airport. Various entertainment each night was great. Traditional Dancing by local villages, including Fire dancing, kava ceremony and talented daughter/father duo, topped of the end of each day.

Read my detailed experience of Le-uaina resort.

Read my detailed experience of Le-uaina resort. There is only one small, dirty, basic shop nearby, where one cannot get less than 2/3 liter-7.2% beer, or a cup of coffee + nice 'bite'. Eating out requires two half hour taxi rides of NZ$25-30, which is not any safer than drink (in moderation) and drive yourself: I once struck a cabbie whose wheel I had to grab four times to keep the car to the left hand side, of which twice in a right hand corner...,; he did not seem to mind me doing this. Public buses are cheap, over-crowded, and the trip lasts twice as long.
