Fireside Resort was fantastic. It was walking distance to the best baker, Persephone, with incredible coffee, pastries, etc. & a small specialty grocery store. The bus to Jackson Mt Resort to ski was a quick walk away and nordic trails for XC skiing were within walking distance as well. The cabins were so darling and perfect. Every morning we walked to the bakery for breakfast and coffee, then some of us took the bus to downhill ski, while others walked to the XC ski trails. We ended every afternoon in the Fireside hot tub. I would definitely stay here again.

Room was surprisingly nice considering this is a motel. No problem with noises. Jackson is a good location is you are exploring South Yellowstone and Grand Teton National parks. City is quite large and has good places such as bakeries for complete experience.

Wilson itself is a small residential area, but there are a couple of great places to eat and it's a great place to be based for exploring the Grand Teton National Park as access via the Moose Wilson road is much quieter (partly unsurfaced and I don't believe RVs are allowed to access the park on this road). We enjoyed two meals at the "Stagecoach" which had a friendly atmosphere and was popular with locals and tourists alike. A car is essential for exploring the local area.

The staff was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and helpful. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, way better than any standard hotel fare. My room was spacious, clean, and full of amenities. Lastly, the property was beautiful, with a secluded feel despite being close to all the important surrounding landmarks and destinations. The hosts, Joe and Elena, were super helpful, welcoming and great chefs as well. Breakfast was wonderful! We were so sad to hear that they are leaving. I’m not sure how it will be without them.
