It's obvious the owners Wendy and Doc put a lot of love into their lodge. The grounds are manicured leading up to the bank of the Guadalupe river. Our room was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

There’s wasn’t much that was enjoyable. The only thing was the location and closeness to Gruene.

Such a beautiful comfortable atmosphere you could not enjoy anything better than the white water lodge... Friendly convenient and all that they have advertised is what you receive and more.. it give you a piece of mind it worth everything.. This is a super cute place. Staff are wonderful. Pool is great. Our room was upstairs and had everything we needed. We were only booked for 1 night but decided to stay 3 & just do a day trip to San Antonio instead. We were so pleased we decided that as we loved our time in Gruene & at the cottages. We walked down to the centre which is an easy 10 min walk. Once you cross the road there's a short path then a walkway the rest of the way.
