The renovations made on the suite were phenomenal! The view of the lake was unobstructed and beautifully framed. Randall at the front desk was gracious enough to wait for us beyond the 8:00 closing. Instructions to the suite and all the amenities in the room were explicit. Loved the availability of channels and WIFI. The box of chocolate was nummy. Winter breakfast can be taken from the front desk area and brought back to the unit. Selections had enough variety and were of good quality. Coffee pods were also wonderfully robust and rich-my preference.

The bed was very comfortable. Grounds and room were well maintained. Amenities were wonderful. Had full size coffee machine. We travel a lot and you just don't see that anymore. Also, loved that they provided paper towel in the room. Have never seen that before. The staff was wonderful. Very nice place!

I am hoping the mold in the bathroom was a temporary thing.
I am hoping the mold in the bathroom was a temporary thing. On the plus side they did have a dehumidifier in the room and that made me feel better. I would stay here again and I would highly recommend it for so many other reasons. In their defense. It was a very humid summer in the area and the mold very well. Sister bay is easy to get around in just driving or walking...
Sister bay is easy to get around in just driving or walking on 42. The marina, beach and boat tours are favorite things to do. Lure restaurant is a great place to dine for seafood. For grocery shopping, Piggly Wiggly is where you want to go, located on 42 in the Country Walk Shops. To gas up your vehicle, the BP station is just across the road from there.

The best relaxing getaway!
The best relaxing getaway! We ate at the Summer Kitchen, the Sister Bay bowling alley (yes, very nice and very good!) and a little hangout place for lunch/snack called, Not Licked Yet. Sister Bay is so centrally located that parks and other towns are all close. One of the nicest little vacations we've had if you enjoy a step back in time and some peace and tranquility. There's also a nice little dog park in Ephraim and our dog enjoyed the trip as much as we did!AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

Location is in the middle of it all, great shops and food along the way.Al Johnson’s is a must to eat at. The live music outside in warmer weather is enjoyable as is sitting in the park watching the children play on the playground and watching the boaters on the lake. Well, breakfast is from 7 AM to 9 AM every morning.
Well, breakfast is from 7 AM to 9 AM every morning. When on vacation who is up before 9:00 to go for breakfast? The second morning there was no breakfast at all! Evidently, we were told, that food truck didn’t come in! Wow that’s there was no breakfast or anything in the lounge Now they know how many people are going to be staying in that hotel, which I believe was full. We found the perfect hotel in Sister Bay at Country House and enjoy all the options for food and entertainment in town. This was our 3rd year in a row and we can't wait to return. We prefer going in September when the weather is still nice but it's less crowded.RosemarieUnited States

The staff - when you could find one - were friendly. Great balcony with table and chairs. While the bathroom fans work, they run VERY loud! The location is perfect to access all areas of Door County and the breakfast has something for everyone. We love the gas firepits outside, they are perfect for winding down after a busy day. We will always stay here when we visit. It meets all of our needs.
