Historic Inn, filled with quaint pre decade deco. The log fires had now turned to gas flame for what ever reason, fires with logs with a red flickering light would have made the fireplaces more authentic. Gym reasonably equipped, sauna never used, hot tub as it days on the tin? Pool chilly but could be down to cold winds. Hotel with staff who suggest places to eat along will in house restaurant and knowledge about the area. This Inn needs a patience to explore.

We stayed at this hotel just one night during our California round trip. The room was small but clean, the bathroom was nice too. Breakfast (included) was as expected for a Marriott hotel: paper plates, plastic cutlery - not good for our planet (!) -, some warm items (scrambled eggs, sausages, outmeal), drinks (coffee, juices), wafles and bagles. We had to bring our own bread to make toast. So overall, this hotel is OK for a one night stay.

Goede locatie op de weg van San Fransisco naar Los Angeles.
The beach was great. We came in January, next time we will try in spring or summer. They're was so much to do, I wish we could have stayed longer. Make sure to check out Old West Cinnamon rolls, and grab a chowder bowl at Wooli's

We usually go to Santa Maria/Orcutt about every 2 months to visit my sister & brother-in-law. We don't do alot of tourist-y things, but have been introduced to several really great places to eat (The Hitching Post in Casmalia for dinner, Kay's, or Jack's for great breakfast and/or lunch, to name a few) , and some super nice people who live and work there. Santa Maria/Orcutt is close to alot of popular beaches, so it's a great home base for a beach day (or two). We love to stay at The Wine Stone Inn in Orcutt for a relaxing and fun get away.

Parts of town can be deceiving as in you can't judge a book by it's cover. Good food, good shopping, great access to the beaches and great wineries abound in the area. We made it to the airshow which was a plus. All in all, we would return.

We were travelling up from LA to Monterey so tried to stop halfway. We actually kept driving back to Santa Barbara as it was more scenic. Pismo isn’t too far but wasn’t the greatest weather. Uber is good for food but cannot get an Uber taxi no matter how hard you try. Plenty of choice for food - loved ihop for breakfasts and Applebys is a must for dinner.

We enjoyed our trip very much.
We enjoyed our trip very much. Santa Maria Friday nights was a fun outside market just up from our hotel. Loved the flavors and live music. We were happy to be close to the coast also. We made a day trip to Pismo stopping by the Luffa farm. Also close for a day trip to Foxen wine trail and old town Orcutt area to explore. Santa Maria was very clean city and walkable plus many trail heads near by.

Only stayed for a night.
The hotel looked nice from
the road and the garden
looked pretty too. The
weather was cold so there
was no chance to use the
pool.
The room was a bit dated,
but liked the new
tiles in the bathroom.
Really liked that the room
had big containers of good
quality soap, shampoo,
conditioner and lotion. This
saves lots of plastics waste.
Wine Stone staff are The Best. All are friendly and professional and you can tell they like their jobs.
Rooms are very clean, comfortable and spacious.
Happy Hour is a great time to make new friends with other hotel guests.
The continental breakfast has standard breakfast items but the strawberries are worth getting out of bed!
The Wine Stone Inn exceeded all our expectations although the reviews were pretty great so we knew we were probably not going to be disappointed. The room was beautiful, clean and spacious. The small details like the welcome basket and a personal note added to the entire vibe. We loved our stay and we're sure you'll love it too!
Stayed for one night, stopover on our way to San Diego.
The hotel is nice and clean. The breakfast was as expected (don't expect too much, american standard).
The hotel is located a little bit out of the way, so you need the car to have dinner.
We liked the breakfast area. It was so elegant and the food was very good. The staff took every precaution to make sure the area was sanitized and safe. Very friendly staff. Would highly recommend to others traveling to Santa Maria.
It is very conveniently located near the interstate. It was also the cheapest price of all nearby hotels for last minute booking. The front desk agent was extremely nice and provided a quick and easy check-in.
Continental breakfast was an excellent & staff at hotel were very friendly yet gave us enough privacy space to us. Room was clean and comfortable. Area was very convenient to take out or eat out.
It is a beautiful historic inn, established in 1917. Everything is impeccable and the staff was friendly and helpful. So much nicer than the modern hotels. Also pet friendly.
I liked the fact that the motel manager here at the Town and Country Inn in Santa Maria, CA minded his own business to a great extent. More so than elsewhere on Broadway.
Not a great deal actually, especially when being ripped off between the amount I was confirmed when I booked, and the amount I was charged at the hotel itself.
