My sister had just died and we were making a two day trip to Montana. They were very kind and helpful with info on where to eat and suggested a quiet walk around the beautiful Koi pond after dinner. We were so pleased that we stayed there on the way back home.

I booked this hotel based on proximity to Snowbasin and the fact they had a hot tub. First, the staff were friendly and so helpful especially with dining choices. The room was clean and confortable. The breakfast was an added bonus and especially that it was a full breakfast. I will definitely stay here on my next trip tp Snowbasin
The location to Snowbasin was quick and easy

Ogden is an EXTREMELY expensive place to visit or live.
Ogden is an EXTREMELY expensive place to visit or live. There is no other reason for us to visit there other than to visit our son, his wife, and baby. Would not recommend visiting otherwise. WAY too expensive.

The room was dark and could have used repairs.
The room was dark and could have used repairs. The baseboard was coming off near the window. The a/c was blowing fan air only. The breakfast was ok, but the items were not being replenished. The breakfast worker spoke no English. Beds were clean, front desk clerk was pleasant.

Room very scarcely furnished.
Room very scarcely furnished. Nothing provided for kitchen use such as dishes, silverware, pots, pans, but you could buy them. Ridiculous. Front office almost never staffed. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy!!!! Total thumbs down!

Actually, I was just passing through.
Actually, I was just passing through. I might have stayed longer, but rain and snow were forecast ahead on my route. By making this a sleep-and-go I was able to enjoy the drive on east with no weather worries.

The Ogden area is beautiful.
The Ogden area is beautiful. Wasatch Mountains are different than others and interesting to look at. For us it was easy to get together with family and get to an appointment in Salt Lake City with the closeness to the freeway. Many places to eat, with lots of good food.
It was fairly easy for us to get around Ogden since we lived there for 16 years and come back to visit family whenever we can.

This particular best western pluse canyon pines in horrible.
This particular best western pluse canyon pines in horrible. I would not recommend anyone going there. The hot tub was absolutely filthy, and the staff did not care. The manager on staff, Nicolas ,was very rude, unhelpful and frankly disgusting. The staff is very poorly trained.
We have stayed here three times with our pup while on road trips. The hotel was a lovely surprise, clean and comfortable rooms, super pet friendly. Beautiful grounds for a walk and to relax. Recommend Slackwater for pizza and the Thai place nearby for a delicious meal! The hotel is also very good for covid travel, with direct access to rooms, isolated a/c units and general cleanliness! The staff is also super friendly and make the check in and check out process very easy.
All round a good choice for location, cleanliness, staff (Tim at reception). A hotel is new, clean and fresh, and the room very comfortable for the two of us. An easy walk to great pubs and restaurants. Two recommendations would be Stella's for dinner, great ambiance, food and service, and for any Beatles fan the City Club is a must.
This hotel is an absolute dump. The rooms are in disrepair, it smells, is dirty and I can’t believe it’s allowed to carry the flag. Holiday Inn Express isn’t expected to be four diamond, but it should stand on its own for being a reliable value in a clean and comfortable (enough) room. Seriously disturbing!
Staff was wonderful! Room was clean, bathrooms were very clean, a nice small fridge in room, no microwave but there is one in the main breakfast area you can use. This hotel is a great addition to ogden. A 1 block to 25th street and close to freeway enterence
The staff were friendly, the breakfast was great with a lot of variety, and the room was clean, quiet and comfortable. We had a grandbaby in the NICU at McKay Dee Hospital and the hotel is just a short drive from there, so it was very convenient.
Clean and well-designed rooms. The beds are very comfortable and it was comforting to be in such a clean space.
A great, warm breakfast is included- especially nice at the moment when so many hotels have reduced to sweet cereal bars only.
The staff was friendly, the hotel was clean, the breakfast was great. It's new and well taken care of. The room was large and had everything you would need to stay a while. It was extremely comfortable for our stay. Lovely place!
I stayed overnight for the Ogden Marathon. I needed an affordable place relatively close to where the race started and this was great. Location was awesome. My room was right by the door so it was easy for me to get to and from.
The hotel was beautiful and very clean. Very reasonably priced. All the staff were fantastic. The bed and pillows were so comfortable! And the shower water pressure was perfect.
Would definitely stay again.
The breakfast was very tasty with a good variety of choices. BUT. We arrived at the breakfast area at 6.05 a.m., and most of the tables had coffee rings and/or crumbs on them. Unappealing.
I had a reservation thru BOOKING.COM and the hotel DID NOT have it anywhere. Staff handled it greatly and I got the room for much less then my reservation!
