The hotel is in a beautiful location and lady at front desk was nice. I would have stated decent value but we were overcharged with no explanation. TV did not work and they offered to change our room but we declined due to hassle of moving rooms.

The room had a partial view of the sea--I would have loved a better view. The room and bathroom were immaculate and the bed and pillows were very comfortable.
Perfect stay. Beautifully built recent years house and we had everything we needed provided by host. I must say, the host is real professional to make the house so beautiful and fully equipped to accommodate guests. We definitely Recommend everyone and we will be back!

I was very disappointed in the inn-it was advertised as a luxury hotel with decks or balconies from every room. Our room was supposed to have a deck with a garden view. It had no deck and a view of the parking lot next door. There was no luxury at all. The blinds were literally following off you you opened them. The bathroom was not very well cleaned.
The bed however was very comfortable. For $300+ per night ,I expected a lot more.

The town looks very nice, but beside some hiking trails there isn't much to do there.
If you have a car you can drive to:
- SFO international airport, ~35 minutes.
- Nearby towns with restaurants with reasonable prices.
- Fitzgerald marine reserve, Half Moon bay.

The room was so beautiful that we wanted to stay longer. The bed was delightful and we had a quiet night's sleep. The Inn is close to beaches and nature walks. The shower was terrific, and even has a little fold-down seat. We would love to go back instead of just passing through.

Great value, great location, safe and clean.
Great value, great location, safe and clean. Although the place is old, it is kept in decent shape. My only issue was that my bed springs were broken and squeaked horribly all night. It also caused the mattress to sag.

It is a great place for a weekend escape away from the busyness of Silicon Valley or San Francisco. It takes you back to how California used to be 20 years ago. No make up or trendy outfits required, just jeans, shorts and a swimsuit. Great seafood everywhere too. Killer sunsets.
Fantastic large room, including comfy sofa, table and to chairs for eating at . Had fridge, Keurig coffee maker, ice machine. Outside balcony seating area. Continental breakfast included. Friendly staff, free parking . Bathroom was amazing .Huge powerful shower. Overall room decor was stunning. Hotel clean throughout. Cannot believe that this is only 2/3 star hotel. Highly recommended.
Breakfast was simple - cold breakfast - bagels, cereals, yogurt -- location was right off the main road - close to town
accessible and ample parking - clean hotel - if you have trouble walking upstairs ask for first floor room rooms were spacious
Great location to Montara beach and hiking trails, and good sandwich shop next door. Loved the room and outdoor seating, perfect for reading and wandering around. Clean, comfy and great coffee / tea Kuerig in room.
