Middletown is a gem.
Middletown is a gem. Surrounded by Newport and Portsmouth on Aquidneck Island. Beautiful beaches, great food, friendly people. Favorite places: Sachuest Beach, Sachuest Point Wildlife Refuge, Great eateries include Johnny's Seafood at the Wyndham Hotel, Atlantic Grille, Tickets, Chilli's and Chelsea's.

Staff was pleasant. Breakfast was adequate and as represented. Shower could have been better. Door lock inoperable on last day. Needed new batteries. Excellent price. Good location. Overall, for a short stay in a high cost area, it was acceptable.

We also liked the fact that the windows in our room actually worked as windows are supposed to, letting in those great ocean breezes, and letting us breathe fresh air.
