Residence Inn by Marriott Boston Bridgewater, hotel in Middleboro

Residence Inn by Marriott Boston Bridgewater is located alongside Lake Nippenicket, in the I-495 corridor, 6.8 km from Bridgewater State University.

Good location for Bridgewater and Taunton and freeways to Boston and to the West and South. Cozy and warm. Comfortable bed, good 'blackout blinds', quiet location and hotel. Good facilities except for the bar being closed (lack of staff). The conference room and the lounge areas were comfortable and spacious.

    Filthy, drog addiction.

Filthy, drog addiction. Had to file Fraud over charge w/ my bank to retrieve overcharge money back. Extremely unprofessional, rude & inexperienced manager. P.s. I did win fraud case. Felt very unsafe there.

    Our stay was extremely unpleasant!

Our stay was extremely unpleasant! We had no t.v. for a good amount of time not sure why.. when i asked the employee what the problem was i was told because of the wind... but there was no wind. The employees were unprofessional and hard to communicate with. We were told we could not come back because of a misunderstanding and supposedly a missing towel. They were not authorized to charge an extra $50 at any point wich they did and i didn't find out until a week later.

The Tom Thumb museum is fun, the architecture is stunning in the center of Town. Both Oliver Mills and Pratt Farm are fun spots for a walk or a picnic. The Charred Oak Tavern is a fabulous restaurant with a huge international whiskey selection and Dave's Diner is a quintessential old fashioned diner.

Great for access to highways and a convenience store/Dunkin Donut next door. Staff was very conscientious. Close to the Cape without the price of Cape hotels. Easy to get to area towns. Red Jacket Inn is nearby with great food and event facilities. Barrens East Bridgewater hosted our group for a meal and it was excellent. We used the exercise facilities and pool areal. Hot tub was excellent but the indoor pool was small and the water was not clear. Breakfast was very good! Overall a great experience!! We will be back!

    Nice town. Good restaurants.

Nice town. Good restaurants. We always hit Dave's diner when we are in town. The old mill off of Rte 44 is a nice spot to stop. The rotary was tricky. I haven't seen markings like this so I was not sure how to travel.

It was close to the college I was visiting, it would have been nice if the hotel could have bus service from the T or the airport. We got lucky and found one guy that helped us get on the right bus to get to the south station from there to the T. Otherwise we were lost.
