Stayed here 2 nights to visit Dartmouth College and overall we were very happy with our stay. The location is fantastic, the room was clean and quiet, and the beds were very comfortable. We will surely return to this hotel when we visit our son over the next 4 years.

It's a sweet little town, rich in history.
It's a sweet little town, rich in history. The General store is must as they really had a little of everything, including homemade goodies and some classic New England charm. We stayed at the Lyme Inn and would happily go again. The staff was friendly, they had wonderful COVID practices in place, the room was comfortable and they shower, well, it was just the best! We had a spectacular dinner Latham House Tavern, an easy walk from the Lyme Inn. Dinner was wonderful. My daughter loved the coconut shrimp appetizer and I would have just had the beer pretzels with the cheese fondue for dinner it was that good. We were only there for one night but would love to go again.

We stayed overnight to avoid commuting in the snow, to a job interview. The inn was spectacular and the dining room and food was just as good. We got to walk around the village square and discovered there are attractions that we would like to return to experience.
The Innkeeper was most helpful when we discovered my husband had forgotten his belt for his suit. The late hour prevented us from shopping but the Innkeeper offered to bring in belts from home! This was so above-and-beyond that it was not only a nice gesture but relieved the stress that he was feeling.
The property alone is worth a stay but the staff definitely makes it all the better!

Great little New England Town!
Great little New England Town! Lots of places to hike/walk, friendly townspeople, great photography site. And so many other beautiful places, including Dartmouth University campus in Hanover, are nearby!
The best places to eat in this little town are (in no particular order): Ariana's, The Latham Tavern, and Stellas!
