Timber Pointe Resort, hotel in Jamestown

Timber Pointe Resort features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Jamestown. This 3-star hotel offers barbecue facilities.

The room was spacious, clean and warm. It would have been helpful to have some sort of snow tray or a place to wipe icy, snowy boots at the front door of the room. The flooring is some sort of wood laminate and is not supposed to get wet.

I love Jamestown, it’s convenient for boaters and has what’s needed. Jamestown locals are friendly. I do miss the Jamestown cafe. Getting around in Jamestown is easy and it feels like home away from home

For fishermen...not horrible and fairly close to lakes.

For fishermen...not horrible and fairly close to lakes. Inexpensive and basic comfort. however, not recommended because of the disregard for locks and smoke detectors. For women traveling alone...not a place I would recommend. Safety is not considered.

Jamestown is very rustic and quiet.

Jamestown is very rustic and quiet. There are very few attractions other than the lake - pretty much none. If you are going for a guys trip to go fishing then it might be exactly what you are looking for but ladies there is no shopping, no restaurants, nothing really to do.
