Beach: The beach was great. Plenty of seating, very easy to rent equipment to go do several things. The 1 hour free snorkeling includes each day was a great hit for us. Swam with several turtles. The reef isn't necessarily the most colorfull and lively we've ever seen, but definitely still very beautiful to look at. We're a bit adventurous, so we wanted to rent paddle bords, kayaks and surf boards to go out off the cove with, but that wasn't allowed without a guide. They could be utilised inside the cove. Room: The room was very nice. Bathroom was great and there was a lot of closet space. The TV was an older model, so it wasn't possible to stream anything or cast to it, which didn't bother us, but definitely is notable if that is a requirement. Food: We mainly ate at the breakfast buffet, which was quite varied. Enjoyed the fact that you could get freshly made omelets by a chef every morning. Ate dinner at Browns looking at the sunset. The food was great and can definitely recommend that. The purple Ube bread, that they served was a highligt and the service was super good

The room was large - 2 king beds. The walk-in shower was new and very nice. Towels were fluffy. There was a kitchen with utensils, cookware, coffee maker, hot water maker, dishes, microwave and mini frig. Although, the stove top was cracked and the oven was broken, so we didn't use them. Walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, drug store and market. Sat farmer's market next door at Parker school was a treat. A couple of years ago we stayed at the ISO on Kauai, another one of Castle properties, that we very much enjoyed so we choose this one on Big Island but they are very different.

We loved the huge sized apartment with separate bathrooms/ensuites for everyone in our group of four! The pool area was practical, large enough for its purpose and close to the apartment. Great parking at the door of the apartment. Good value for money compared to the nearby resorts. Awesome to have our own laundry in the apartment and free of any extra charges!

this nice apartment has everything you could need. nice to have washer and full kitchen. Even had spices. the beach equipment was great for the kids. spent so much time at the beach we didn't get a chance to try the pool. the view in the morning of the water and sometimes maui was great
