Fisherman's Cabin, hotel in Greenville

Situated in Greenville in the Maine region, Fisherman's Cabin features a garden. Featuring mountain and lake views, this holiday home also comes with free WiFi.

Location was amazing. We explored the area, took some hikes, and, even over the 4th, it was quiet; you could hear the loons, and the water lapping the shore. Wifi and cell service was spotty, but "disconnecting" somewhat enhanced the vacation.

This is a very remote setting when compared to most travelers may be used to, however there is plenty to do and see. Town has several very good restaurants and a number or stores. Easy to get around the town and the area. Beautiful place to visit

Enjoyed exploring the area, hiking, kayaking. Be prepared for lots of dirt roads! Lily Bay state park, Mt Kineo Island (pebble Beach) and the Katahdin were highlights as well. We'd avoid attempting to get to the B52 memorial...long way in on dirt road. We gave up.

Nice small town, nice people. Easy to get around.

Nice small town, nice people. Easy to get around. I liked Gabriel's Bookstore. The proprietor likes to talk, but I enjoyed our conversation, so that's a moot point. The Stress Free Moose Pub has good food and a good atmosphere. If you see a tall girl working at The Stress Free Moose Pub, do not ask her how tall she is or if she plays basketball haha. We cooked at the house the rest of the time, because we like to cook, and save a few bucks too. The Indian Hill Trading Post and the Shop&Save are good places to shop for food and just about anything else.

I have been visiting Greenville since I was a child.

I have been visiting Greenville since I was a child. I’m 59 years old now and I love it still. It’s one of those rare places that doesn’t change a lot. You won’t find chain restaurants or box stores here. The village is small and quaint with shops and restaurants. There is a full gas/grocery/clothing/sporting good plaza just before coming into town. The beauty of Moosehead Lake is stunning.
