Location was super!
Location was super! Rooms were clean, bathroom sink drain was extremely slow, but the bed was just right! In a town of 200 people this motel serves it purpose..nothing fancy and the food at the grill was excellent. All in all, a great experience.

this motel was in high island. that is different than gilcrist. two separate places. so this doesn't apply. high island is a small town not much there but that's not why you stay there. you want to go on the beach and access for that is good.StephenUnited States - 10Scored 10

We ate at the Ocean Grill, and were very surprised to find the food was excellent. We will be back to eat there again. I love the beach and my husband prefers the bay, so we had the best of both worlds.
