The staff gave us dog blankets and dog treats for my pets. Very Pet Friendly hotel. The breakfast in the morning was excellent. They had a soup du jour throughout the entire day and a ice coffee station to enjoy. Highly recommend you stay here.

This was our second time staying at Hanscom’s and we LOVE it!! It’s super dog friendly, cozy, and has everything you need for a relaxing trip! If you stay here, make sure to take advantage of the grill, cornhole, propane fire and regular fire pit that has fire starters, wood and paper to make starting your fire super easy! Deluxe king room was exactly what was advertised - with sitting areas, huge bed, fridge, microwave and separate space for clothes / luggage. Outside decked sitting area very pleasant. Complimentary tea / coffee with biscuits in Lobby area - very welcoming. Outside appearance does not do this property justice - very pleasantly surprised when we got to our room.

Although a few miles away from Bar Harbor, we were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and level of comfort at this out of town motel. Room prices in Bar Harbor, for even basic accommodation, can get ludicrously expensive, but Gallagher's Travels pricing offered way more value than most in town.

I liked that you could walk to the clubhouse. It was great that there were more activities other than swimming to keep the kids entertained. The kitchen in the “villas” was nice, had what we needed to make a quick meal.
