The Candlewood Suites offer more than just your average room with a few packs of coffee. It was a large spacious room like a studio apartment. There is a full kitchenette that even includes a dishwasher and cookware. This would be a great hotel for prolonged stays. Too bad we just had a quick one night stopover before heading off to our destination in Philadelphia.

Spent the afternoon bicycling around town to various sites .
Spent the afternoon bicycling around town to various sites ... Elmira College, Mark Twain Octagon Room, cemetery, Newtown Battlefield, etc. a good street map would have helped or Visitors Center. Interesting architecture. Found a good restaurant. Small town with a lot of pluses. Local people very friendly.JeffUnited States

She even gave us 'doggy' gift bags for our boys with milk bones, poo bags and a list of parks that allow dogs. There was plenty of grass for the dogs to relieve themselves. The bed was comfortable and the room seemed clean. On check out we got a 'to go' breakfast bag with muffins, Nutribar, banana and bottle of water. It being Easter their restaurant was closed.
