The bed was very comfortable. Grounds and room were well maintained. Amenities were wonderful. Had full size coffee machine. We travel a lot and you just don't see that anymore. Also, loved that they provided paper towel in the room. Have never seen that before. The staff was wonderful. Very nice place!

Loved the restaurants....the lake....not alot of traffic...friendly people...very good food wherever we ate...getting around Ellison Bay very easy...more stores/shops/restaurants could have been opened but end of season so we understood where they were closed. Also, very high wind which caused some places to lose power. Loved eating at Mink River Grill...ate there 2x. Also, loved eating at Carroll's restaurant.🙂👍

    Nice, quiet, peaceful little village.

Nice, quiet, peaceful little village. Just what we were looking for. Motel was very nice. There was pub & grill close by that we walked to from our room. It was not so great. There were out of about out of everything I asked about. Thought the Walleye sounded good but was just under twenty bucks for four strips so small that if they were even Walleye, they were just fingerlings. I would use that size fish as bait to fish for Walleye. Would not recomend this place to eat at. Can't speak to the bar part of the business. They didn't have the beer I asked about so I just drank a Pepsi. Picked up a beer from the gas station across the street and drank it in my room. I think it was called the Viking. There is another place to eat in Ellison Bay. I would suggest trying that one if you stay there. Ellison Bay is also a fairly short drive to just about everything else going on in Door County. So you can shop and party with the rat race in the other towns close by but then retreat to the peace and quiet of Ellison Bay at the end of the day.
