This was a mixed experience, but mostly very positive.
Firstly, although named 'Bed and Breakfast' there is no breakfast provided, a little disingenuous perhaps.
We were sent details of the entry code etc in very timely fashion, unfortunately the battery was dead on the code box and the cleaners had deadlocked the door anyway! However the owner turned out to let us in and resolve the problem very quickly.
Its a little way out of Fredericksburg, but the town is very accessible and the setting is wonderful, at least for us. Out kids were delighted in stroking goats, watching cattle and antelope etc. If you're not an animal fan I'd avoid, they're all free roaming which for us was a definite positive. The facilities within what is actually a very small unit are good, with a multifunction oven, fridge-freezer, air con etc. We really enjoyed sitting on the roof with a glass of wine as the sun went down!
