Great location to view the total eclipse. Price was very high, but that's supply and demand! Close to Lake Amistad. Rudy's Texas BBQ very close by for that traditional Texas eating experience. Breakfast was a bit overwhelmed by the number of travellers, Eggs and potato tots (I think that's what they are called) were great but there was no bacon (sad face)

Clean and comfortable place to stay. Breakfast choice was good and well stocked. The hotel was undergoing renovation but this didn’t disturb us in the least. Easy to get groceries and an evening meal within walking distance.

Great welcome from the owners who were friendly and couldn’t do more for their guests. The location is fine although a bit of a walk downtown. However, parking was not a problem downtown.

    Del Rio is a super clean town. That is a major plus for me.

    Del Rio is a super clean town. That is a major plus for me. All the restaurants I would want & stores galore. We went to Val Verde Winery, the oldest winery in Texas, had a blast doing a wine tasting! I loved the old world style homes. Definitely would come visit again.

    No "border issues", locals were very friendly and the town felt very safe. The reservoir was low and some amenities were not available. There are limited hiking trails although there is potential for more.

    Dirty rag under the bed no breakfast in the mornings the pool was drained there was a party happening outside which lasted most of the night and when I arrived they didn’t accept cash only cards, none of the above was mentioned or I would have chosen the cheaper place it couldn’t have been any worse

    I love that Del Rio is not a big city and doesn’t take you...

    I love that Del Rio is not a big city and doesn’t take you long to get to where you want to go. Has good Mexican food. The Amistad Dam is a good place for fishing and boat riding. We ate at Marcelino, iHop, Sirloin Stockade and we enjoyed the food.

    It's slow paced, the people are friendly and helpful. I wanted to visit the Whitehead Museum but it was closed that day. I did visit the Laughlin AFB museum and the two gentlemen who run it were excellent guides and full of stories of the history of aviation in the area, the AFB, etc.

    I didn't have breakfast in the hotel because of an excellent breakfast restaurant right next door called "Skillets." The location was very convenient for me because it was equidistant from all the places I wanted to go. I was very pleased with the pleasantness of the staff, the names of whom I can't remember (shame on me). Upon my arrival, the receptionist had changed my booking rate to the hotel standard weekly rate and saved me about $100.00. I feel REALLY bad about forgetting her name.

    I had the opportunity to interact with a sharp professional young lady at 10 pm check in. In the morning going into their lobby for coffee , I had the good fortune to meet the manager who happily explained the furniture and interior upgrades in progress. Having traveled with working dogs quite a bit .. motel 6 properties are often my overnight choice. This Del Rio property and your Weatherford property are two with the best staff that I have experienced in Texas.

    clean rooms, great staff, comfortable beds They did 'nt have Hot water when we arrived, their boilers were out. However the Hotel called before our arrival and offered the option to cancel with no cancellation charge . We kept our reservation had a great stay. The next evening the boilers were replaced and the hot water turned on. grand kids enjoyed the pool everyone had a great trip Thanks

    Lots of people had said there rooms were non smoking but weren't I got a room non smoker no smells bed was really comfortable small room with 2 beds in it shower was smaller I'm a big guy but I fit into it easily dodgy plumbing has shower faucet in diff location but it had all u could need or want from a hotel room people need to realize it's not there own bedroom

    The receptionist was very vibrant. The pool was available! The pool is huge compared to other hotels. Accessible to main road. Breakfast restaurant across from hotel parking lot. Beds were so comfortable. The room was pre set n it was so cool in there.

    Room was clean and comfortable. They have Dove shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The continental breakfast is always great and has alot of tastey choices. The staff is always friendly. We have stayed here before and were impressed so we came back.

    The staff was friendly. This is a “very” basic place to crash out, for the price and as a 3rd/4th choice. All other 3* + hotels were booked due to the police officers coming from all over the South, to help out the Border Patrol.

    The cleanliness of the rooms was OK. If you have little kids the pool at night is good facility for them to pass time until 10 PM. The hotel has 2 pools one open and the other is in-doors. It was good enough for the price,

    Motel-style room with parking outside door. Manuels's Steak House next door was great for dinner, just a two-minute walk. Basic breakfast included. Friendly and helpful couple who own and run the hotel.
