We were on the top floor with views on the bay. O wow!! We had a large suite with separate room with couch and pantry. We enjoyed wathcing the sunset from our balcony!

My family was suppose to be on a 2 hour direct flight from Ft Lauderdale to New Orleans. Spirit Airlines cancelled our flight 2 hours before takeoff with no notification, nor any valid reason. We could not get a flight home so we rented a suburban and drove home, a 12 hour 52 min drive not including any stops. We drove from Ft Lauderdale to Daphne, AL and booked a room here, as it accommodated all 6 of us in one room. It was my first time staying at a Home 2 Suites hotel. I must say it was exceptional, so much so that I started to look up more Home 2 Suites locations in all of the cities I travel to for work. I am ditching Marriott and joining the Hilton Honors Program. Our stay really only involved going to sleep immediately and then leaving 4 hours before checkout to get back on the road so we could get home. The conversation in the car once we left was how nice, modern and clean the hotel was with a hot breakfast. We will definitely look up Home 2 Suites hotels in the future when we can plan to stay somewhere.

Nasty room. Poor service. Did not clean at all. Have pictures of how nasty is was. Had to go get my own wash clothes and towels. Poor, poor, poor. Nasty, nasty, nasty.
