Great central location to Custer State Park, Wind Cave, Jewel Cave, Mt Rushmore. You can get a decent meal. It is not just burger restaurants. Custer State Park has incredible wildlife especially at dawn and dusk. It is as good as most National Parks. The Custer tourist area is the same as any of the others but the buffalo sculptures set it apart. There is also a farmer's market downtown.Cynthia - 10Scored 10

Enjoyed the dive bar the Captain's Table that's right down from the rooms. Great place for one last nightcap before heading to bed.
