Check in/check out was super easy, room was adequate for what we needed. Didn't use pool but looked nice and clean. Breakfast offered for a fair fee, and the restaurant gets good reviews, but we opted to eat at a local pancake house.

The spa had to be pre-booked so, as we were only there for one night, we missed that too. There may have been a bar: if there was it was closed. There was a restaurant but it wasn't open as it only provided lunch. The room was nice......

Every aspect of the Inn, setting, decor, amenities, service, and food, was first rate, befitting the property's history and reputation. We felt very welcome and cared for. The Williamsburg Inn is much better in every respect than it used to be despite the loss of the Regency Dining room as a daily venue for meals. Times change and the Inn has with them but the core values of elegance, comfort, and service remain.
