Lots of things to see or do in and around Coos Bay.

Lots of things to see or do in and around Coos Bay. The boardwalk was a nice after dinner walk. The drive around the bay is interesting. We had a wonderful meal at Blue Heron German Bistro. Really good soup and schnitzel. Highly recommend it.

Coos Bay is a charming community on the Oregon Coast. Given my agenda, I wasn't there on vacation or to enjoy the sights, but anyone looking for a nice vacation spot might want to consider a day or two in Coos Bay.

There is so much to do and see there even if you can't get out and walk much there are some stunning drives and so many different places to visit! Coos Bay's access to the ocean and beaches is excellent.

Coos Bay's access to the ocean and beaches is excellent. There are great places to eat and there is a new boardwalk shopping mall that will be awesome when completely filled with businesses. The old town along 101 N & S has many interesting shops to browse and buy great things.

Coos Bay is a nice town.

Coos Bay is a nice town. Wish we could have found better places to eat. The town itself, or what we saw of it seemed dirty but it is a coastal town. The Mill Casino was the best place we visited although we did not win. One restaurant we ate at made us both sick. I guess we should have looked around more and maybe next time, if there is a next time, we will look around more. Sunset beach was awesome!!

The beaches around the area are gorgeous, there's plenty to see. Also nice sand dunes to ride around on. There's a great restaurant in Charleston, which is just a short drive from Coos Bay/ North Bend (and near a couple of the beaches), called Miller's at the Cove. Overall a great area to visit!

This was the only reasonably, priced motel that treated me and my 94 year old mother like human beings. Their shower head and water pressure is better than the resort hotel I paid $300 a night! The hotel is located just north of DT Coos Bay (in North Bend) and conveniently provides a trance/exit to both NB & SB sides of the 101 thru town. It is clean, the staff are all courteous, respectful and accommodating. The coffee in the lobby is available 24 hours and ALWAYS FRESH! What a SUPER stay I had here. Thanks again S8!

Amazing, clean, very spacious, and comfortable rooms. We slept like babies. The staff were even better though, with how friendly and welcoming they were. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was more than pleasant. We felt safe and respected as clients and we would (and already have) recommend this hotel to everyone. Beautiful views of the water, as well as close grocery stores. We can’t wait to stay again. Also affordable! :)

honestly not too much. Your staff was not very helpful regarding where was best to eat, only gave us a menu of sorts to pick places to go to based on what food we might have wanted or what was open. I work at a hotel as well and when my guests ask me where to go, I know right were to send them but I also give them choices and tell them right how to get there. Knowledge of the little things goes a long way with people.

This was right on the bay. When the tide goes out there is some walkable beach access. The condo is cute and private. When I drive to check in, I was disappointed in the location BUT the front desk advised that this stay was not at the hotel but on a separate property. This is a great place!!

How clean and nicely the property was. The renovation to this property must be recent, everything looks brand new. The property was easy to access and the code for the door lock was sent in a timely matter prior to my arrival. The location was convenient to places I went in Coos Bay.
